Tom Hardy should play WolverineIf anyone cares. Marvel was bought by Disney. Before that Marvel sold the Spiderman movie rights to Sony, the X-Men and Fantastic Four Movie rights to Fox, and the Theme Park rights of many Marvel Characters to Universal.
Disney has now also purchased Fox. That means the MCU gets the movie rights back for X-Men and Fantastic Four. Personally, I just hope every movie doesn't turn into a Wolverine movie because that's what every Fox X-Men movie became.
Sony still has movie rights to Spiderman (which usually includes Spiderman villains). Disney does have merchandise control though.
Universal still has Marvel Theme Park rights east of the Mississippi, which is why, for example, the Hulk is a coaster in Universal and won't be in Disney World, but Disney World can use some Marvel Characters like the Guardians of the Galaxy.
You know it was a movie....it's not that serious for you to clutch your pearls and kick your dog. I thought it was a good sequence. No different than Tony, Cap, and Thor able to fight Thanos, but Hulk couldn't? Hell, Thor could not even beat Hela. Hell, Tony struggled with Whiplash and Obidiah Stane.
Tom Hardy should play Wolverine
When you engage in hyperbole off the bat, what's the benefit of conversing? You didnt just question the critique. Instead, you attempted a sophomoric ad hominem stating I was "clutching pearls" or "kicking a dog" in response. Is that how you walk into conversation? By overreacting?
It doesnt bother me to see women superheroes. It never will. I just thought the forced attempt at an inauthentic girl power moment wasnt a well written scene. The response by others should tell you that it wasn't well written.
Hey guys,
My Mom passed this morning. It was very peaceful and calm after several days of rapid decline. We were able to be with her the whole time and are still up here in Cincinnati taking care of my Dad. Thanks for all your prayers.
*Sorry to drop this in here, but y’all are some prayer -sending folks and we could use em.
I think they should hire a real wolverineHe'd be a good choice. To be fair, I think Hugh Jackman has done a really good job. He is too tall though. Hardy has that shorter, stockier build like traditional Wolverine.
I like Wolverine, but Fox acted like he was the only X-Man character. It took Deadpool to get a decent Colossus for crying out loud. Logan was pretty darn good though.
Maybe Hardy should just play every character in the next X-Men movie--avant garde style. There's Tom Hardy as Jubilee.
Sorry, my inner-kid comic book personality is leaking. What thread is this?

Thirty odd years ago I made a promise to my Dad. Today I had to keep that promise. My dad has had Dementia for several years his health the few months has steadily declined so today I put him on Hospice care to just keep him comfortable as he slips away. For a brief time today he opened his eyes. I took his hand laid my head on his chest and him I loved him and it was ok to just let go. I cried like a baby (at 61) not ashamed. If your mom and dad are still alive tell them you love while you can.
My brother and his wife lost twins to a miscarriage today as well. It was very early in the process, which helps a little bit, but no doubt we were all getting excited and it is heartbreaking. Luckily, he has an adorable little girl right now to help ease the sudden loss. Little one is at that really special age where the smiles are simply nonstop. Still, very rough day for VN. Love you all though this is a such an unexpectedly warm community.
I thought Wonderwoman was better than all the Avengers movies. Although the first Ironman was awesome. I am however partial to Gal and Downey Jr. since Wierd Science. When you engage in hyperbole off the bat, what's the benefit of conversing? You didnt just question the critique.
