Right? Whats wrong with little girls being able to see a badass group of women being able to kick cheeks just like Batman and others do? Anyone who is legit upset about this is pathetic. Boomers are the ultimate snowflakes.
Let me enlighten your woke self. It's not that the female superheroes were kicking butt. It's every single one of the randomly show up at one place and the entire Thanos army randomly shows up in the same place and then the females cut through them like a hot knife through butter. Now what they could've done is while SM was running with the gauntlet have every female (one or two at a time) come in a clear a path while SM was running. Would've still shown the female superheroes kicking butt and would've been much more natural to the environment they were in.

I think the issue i take with it (which isn't much of an issue) is that it makes some weird point to have a "girl power" moment and make it uber obvious. imo this is the opposite of what feminism is trying to achieve. If you want women to be truly equals then they should be fighting side by side with the male characters. Women can look strong without having to have some weird "this is where we show women can be strong too" moment. which is what they did with that scene. You insecure about feminism pushing into movies? There are a list of issues with hollywood films, and feminism ain't nowhere near the top. Hell, women get top billing in Porn, unless you look at "alternative" porn.
which was dumb, imo. But all three of them fighting Thanos makes sense. They are three key members of the Avengers. You know it was a movie....it's not that serious for you to clutch your pearls and kick your dog. I thought it was a good sequence. No different than Tony, Cap, and Thor able to fight Thanos, but Hulk couldn't? Hell, Thor could not even beat Hela. Hell, Tony struggled with Whiplash and Obidiah Stane.
interesting.“Henry has been pretty consistent,” Pruitt said. “We’ve had several young guys that have been really consistent, which is a positive. Maybe it’s maturity, I don’t know what it is, but you see it everywhere. I’ve seen it over the years, and you can’t predict it. It don’t matter who’s got how many stars or where they played at or anything like that. Sometimes when it kind of gets going in fall camp, some guys, they don’t blink and some guys do, but usually they all get it eventually, so he’s picked it up pretty fast.”
.“We have lots of guys on our team that that have a chance to be really good football players one day and we’ve got to understand that as coaches," Pruitt said. "I say it all the time, ‘don’t place unrealistic expectations on them.’ My dad has always had a saying, ‘for every freshman you play is a loss that you should have on your record.’ That’s the way he looks at it in high school and if you look at it along the way it’s probably about right.”
That's it. It's the forcing of it. It was odd at that point in the movie. The feminism push in the flash and stuff is awful too. I mean, when supergirl kicks butt nobody cares. But when Pepper Potts takes over for iron man in iron man 3 and is able to beat the bad guy when actual Iron Man couldn't is dumb.I get it, I even support it if done organically...but it feels so forced lately, that it gets on your nerves.
what do you think they were doing the rest of the battle? Ironing clothes on the side or cooking dinner for after battle supper? Pepper fought side by side with Tony. Wasp and Antman were right there together. Hell, Black Widow actually sacrificed herself. The strongest character on the field was Captain Marvel, but the weakest saved everyone. It was a good movie, and I shed tears. But to get upset about a woman fight scene, a gay character, or anything else in a fictional movie is asinine.I think the issue i take with it (which isn't much of an issue) is that it makes some weird point to have a "girl power" moment and make it uber obvious. imo this is the opposite of what feminism is trying to achieve. I don't care about the Ocean's 8. But I think a female bond is a dumb move.I don’t get the whole thing where people get mad about girl power in movies either. Ocean’s 8 and a female bond? Who cares? Those IPs have been done to death anyway. Why not do something different there and see if maybe you can catch fire. A lot of action movies are just male power fantasy/wish fulfillment anyway. Let the women have their versions too. I won’t watch them because I’m not interested and don’t identify with it and that’s ok.
But that scene in Endgame was forced and cringey AF. I get that the whole movie is basically fan service anyway and you’ve gotta suspend your disbelief, but having every female character from the MCU suddenly be on the same spot of the battlefield was pretty dumb. Why isn’t having them kick ass all over the battlefield in tandem with all the other heroes enough? It just felt like the most eye-roll inducingly cynical pandering I’ve seen in the MCU movies.
