My brother and his wife lost twins to a miscarriage today as well. It was very early in the process, which helps a little bit, but no doubt we were all getting excited and it is heartbreaking. Luckily, he has an adorable little girl right now to help ease the sudden loss. Little one is at that really special age where the smiles are simply nonstop. Still, very rough day for VN. Love you all though this is a such an unexpectedly warm community.
Love and prayers. Glad to hear big sister can bring some sunshine. May they grieve properly and heal.

The girl power scene was corny af. Female heroes? Sure. Let's do it. All female characters suddenly being in the same place of a huge battle to charge? Stop it.
I think it’s fine because, as you said, when my daughters watch it they will like it. It’s just the “girl power” and feminism pushing in movies and television that’s just getting annoying which is what they’re talking about with this Thor movie. That’s all.I didn't mind that scene and both my daughters really enjoyed it and mentioned it specifically when describing the movie to their mother.
You know it was a movie....it's not that serious for you to clutch your pearls and kick your dog. I thought it was a good sequence. No different than Tony, Cap, and Thor able to fight Thanos, but Hulk couldn't? Hell, Thor could not even beat Hela. Hell, Tony struggled with Whiplash and Obidiah Stane.Just watched Endgame last night. The girl power scene was corny af. Female heroes? Sure. Let's do it. Right? Whats wrong with little girls being able to see a badass group of women being able to kick cheeks just like Batman and others do? Anyone who is legit upset about this is pathetic. Boomers are the ultimate snowflakes.I didn't mind that scene and both my daughters really enjoyed it and mentioned it specifically when describing the movie to their mother.
I get it, I even support it if done organically...but it feels so forced lately, that it gets on your nerves.I think it’s fine because, as you said, when my daughters watch it they will like it. You insecure about feminism pushing into movies? There are a list of issues with hollywood films, and feminism ain't nowhere near the top. Hell, women get top billing in Porn, unless you look at "alternative" porn.I think it’s fine because, as you said, when my daughters watch it they will like it.
