Anyone who plays golf, at a high level, knows the mental part of the game is just as important as technique. The UT mens golf team is definitely on the rise. I'm a golf junkie and I keep up with our golf team through Golfstat during tournaments. They record player and team scores during tournaments. Most people will not keep up with tournament scores but I do. That's how much I love UT :cool::cool:.

So we didn't receive any AP votes. 1 vote in the coaches' poll.

7/12 of our opponents received AP votes - Bama, UGA, UF all top 10. Mizzou is 26th, followed by Miss St (28) USC (35) UAB (44th...lol).

Also found it interesting that Utah is highly thought of at #14, yet is only a 4.5 pt favorite in week 1 vs unranked, no vote BYU. I trust Vegas more than voters, though preseason is a lot of throwing darts with 1 eye closed.

Should get a pretty good grasp on BYU before they come here. If they shock Utah right off the bat, our game will get pretty hyped. Though I'd rather they just get beat up and demoralized before a long cross country trip.

This one is good. I got a buddy who played D1 ball and did some dumb stuff to get kicked off the team and the story he tells about losing the meal plan is hilarious. Like seriously make you cry funny.

Guess he won't say, but who is he preparing for? Surely going to be like Dabo skipping prep for ND and going straight to Bama prep and skip Ga St. Hell, do you even scout them outside of an hour or two just for the laughs?

Interesting thought. Doug Mathews eluded to that last week on his show. Until classes start those who have graduated can still transfer and be immediately eligible to play. If they don’t see playing time they can transfer and you could possibly lose some depth.
