Guys,
This will be my first time being able to attend a game in Neyland since the FL game in '96 and will be my brother's first game at Neyland ever. I was looking to purchase seats near mid-field, but need to be thrifty since I'm coming from Texas. I found seats for around $60 bucks in section C (visitors section, I know) but was thinking GA State won't travel that well and should be some Vol brethren nearby. Does anyone know how far up (which row) I need to be up to be able to clearly see the field and not the visiting team? Any advice is GREATLY appreciated!!!

I sat in row 1 on the 45 and couldn't see much other than Dobbs and Kamara as the QBs and RBs groups were close by. I hated it. Maybe someone else can tell you how high in the lower bowl.

I have upper deck front row (available for that game) that holds a really good view. See the ticket forum if interested.

seats in section C will be good seats unless they on on row 10 or lower. I expect that most fans in C will be Tennessee fans. You should have a ball. The only problem with seats on the East side is you face the sun all afternoon unless it is a night game.
games on the East side are welcome in November.

Thanks guys! Went ahead and purchased in section C row 25... will remember to bring sunglasses for sure! (Maybe we'll get some overcast skies w/out rain) What time does the Vol Walk start and should I shuttle from the Ag Campus (what we used to do back in the day...)?

Since it's been a while since you've attended. Don't use the east concourse except to get a drink. All the good stuff in in the north and west concourses.... take it from a guy in the south end zone.

You are going bake during the game. 3 pm game in August with seats on the East side. Hydration is a must.

Think you have to have a pass for the Ag Campus.

In addition to sunglasses, a baseball cap will help a great deal with the sun. I like to park downtown in one of the several free parking garages and walk to the stadium through the World’s Fair Park. You can also take a shuttle from Market Square. Knoxville city website will tell you which garages are free and have info on the shuttles. I may have had to troll around for a bit, but I’ve always found a spot. I’ve often had good luck in the garage behind Mast General Store. I try to show up at least two hours early.
