I'm looking forward to Saturday's game in Orlando but am torn on the outcome... on one hand I want Miami to win because f*** the gators, on the other beating the top 10 gators at home on 9/21 would be pretty damn sweet. Which way are you guys leaning?
I hope Florida loses by 40,000 every single game they play. Plus Miami beating them will boost in state recruiting and hurt Florida even more. I hate Florida.

WGWTFA no matter what they ranked. Go Canes

I just see it as having some nugget of future predictive value, so I hope they get absolutely dominated. If they win easily, then that does not bode well for our chances against them.

I watched some of the spring game and from my untrained eye a lot of times those guys will play looks like a normal 4-3 DE. I wish I understood exactly the differences if any
You should look into some of Power T Tape's stuff on twitter. He does a great job explaining our defense. From my understanding, a lot of times we will have three down linemen and a standing rusher. So it sort of looks like we are running a 4-3, but it is really still the 3-4. I am no expert, but I remember him explaining that in one of his articles.

Thanks

I think taylor is standing rusher a lot. Last year the other end was Phillips a lot

For example, here is one of the pictures he made. We are technically in the 3-4 here, but we have 5 defensive backs out there. The 3rd linebacker is the standing rusher in this case. We run this a lot because so many teams run 3-4 wide receiver sets.

When Florida loses, it's good. Go 'Canes.

Maybe we need to have you on our imaginary podcast that may or may not have ever existed or will exist again

Not football related but UT sports related. Coach Webb, UT mens golf coach, has signed the #1 and #2 ranked golfers in the state of Tennessee. Dude can coach and he can definitely recruit. Carry on :cool:
Your comment struck a curiosity in me about what it takes to be a good golf coach. Is it like, "you really need to work on your drives landing more toward the middle of the fairway" and stuff like that.

Also, it'd be pretty funny if there was a golf coach that went all Woody Hayes, Nick Saban, Bob Knight-esque on their student athletes.

Go pay for a golf lesson and you will see it’s much more detailed than that

200$ a hour isn’t uncommon

Relax bro, it’s simple rival fan talk on my teams forum. I’m not attacking anyone, but I suspected someone would want to run with my comment
I know you aren’t attacking anyone. Your character is not in question, Nick.

I need to go throw some steel around.

So, just bet my co-worker $100 that Tennessee would have a better record this season than Kentucky... Was this a stupid bet? Surely they're going to suck out loud this year after losing their NFL players right? right??

Looking at the schedules and my predictions, you'll be able to collect that by the end of day November 9, when we seal your co-worker's fate.
