i wouldn't read too much in to that. while true, i think you get these first 3 games, 2 of them for sure, that should give them opportunities to get plenty of reps.

i think there is an expectation that Morris and WRight both will just need some time to settle in to their respective positions.

assuming they progress as expected, i think the only thing that would surprise me is if they're not settled in by the time we get to the back half of the season.

but i'm not gonna lie....it's another fall camp where we're still moving guys around trying to find the right starting 5........and we've seen how that has played out the past few years....so yeah, there's some trepidation there.....

It also wouldn't be the worst case to bring Wanya along at RT or LG and then kick him out to LT next year.

I think the big thing that is getting overlooked is Tatum's development. Its obvious this guy has brought it this off season and pretty much has made sure he has a spot somewhere along the starting 5. Him outplaying the freshman is a good thing guys.
If Tatum is playing because he has improved then that is great. We don’t want freshman OT’s imo. We want Wanya and Wright to be ready to not only take over but dominate next year.

My cousin just passed. Please keep the family in your prayers. Been a tough road for the parents losing two daughters early in life. There are things more important than football. Heard is heavy right now. Thanks to all who prayed.

Very sorry for your family's loss. Will pray for sure.

Some have seemed surprised that we haven't done any better at the rb position (though I think Gray will be a legend).
But honestly, if you want to make the NFL with your body intact, who's looking at our OL and thinking "sweet!"?

Get the OL fixed, the backs will come.
This 100%. Get the O line fixed 1st.

I see it more as a positive about Tatum

Very excited about him
I've always thought Tatum had the atheleticism but was just too small. He looks physically larger enough to play for the first time.

Could this be Butches Eric Fisher type recruit that actually ended up being serviceable here?

I know where the parents are right now. Wish I had the words but I'm not sure there are any. I'm so very sorry for you and especially those parents.

I’ll have to see him stay healthy but he’s always been a good player

He's added good size & strength and played in all 12 last season. I really take it as a positive that Tatum is doing so well they want him at LT.

Honestly wish Jahmir was elevating more so that he was winning that LT job, and Tatum was staying at RT. I think both Freshmen will see action though, if we're lucky they'll only see it in 4 games and we'll be able to RS both of them (because the line is playing that good with returning guys).

Pretty sure he's over 300lbs now and supposedly hasn't lost the athleticism.
