Things I'm mad about today

Mad I went to the eye doctor this morning and he said I have cataracts and need surgery to remove them.

D’oh!

But by any chance, do you wear glasses, whether for distance or for reading? If you’re old enough for Medicare, it will pay for corrective intra-ocular lenses (the ones they’ll implant when they remove the cataracts), and then boom! no more glasses!

My mother is convinced that she never wore glasses, even though her house was littered with drugstore readers.

After cataract surgery, she was horrified to see all her wrinkles on her face! So there’s that.

I was just being silly. I had a suspicion I had a cataract in my left eye but he said also in the right eye, just not as bad yet. Certainly looking forward to seeing better again.

I'm mad that most contractors install the tile first in a kitchen, then the cabinets on top. That's stupid and causes too much trouble and expense when you need to replace your tile, which I may soon need to do. Phooey

I'm flipping mad! My wife has tge coffee table moved because she's been shampooing the carpet. I wasn't even thinking about it and turned the lights off, then walked right into the stupid thing. Stinking hurt!

That's not very comforting, I am prob looking at additional eye procedures after cataract in left eye last year. Eye doc referred me to surgeon this morning. Again for lefteye. 52/53 yrs and never even had glasses

I know, my uncle had issues too, can't recall what. So my aunt is terrified to have something done, but her eye doc, who happens to be mine as well, said it is not a hereditary thing, and it is extremely rare to have issues like the two of them did.

That’s because you’re a regular Joe. People around here would’ve just started checking out and sent somebody to get what they forgot and if everything was finished checking everybody had to wait for the person to come back with what they forgot. I’ve seen people still shopping after they get in line.

I'm mad i had to stay an hour after work for a meeting, and now have to take a gym bag to the middle school because my daughter forgot it!
