I’ve been coming down here for years. This part is the start of sand bars. Low tide and sunset walks you will find unbroken dead sand dollars whole. You can dig for live ones and plenty of starfish too. Bunch of welchs, conch, and tiger eyes too.Always cool to see them. Finding any sand dollars or starfish?

I’m fishing a little tonight but usually only catch trash . Spanish Mackerel, salt cat or occasional shark using shrimp.
I
Just meant they are every where. It’s funny to see these tourists go crazy especially Europeans
When friends come we do the shelling and snorkeling on clear days. The water is usually crystal down here in August at low tide. It’s a little murked up with seaweed l. Never been stung by a sting ray. I used to catch skates when I was little with a casting net. If you know the difference so tried to bare hand a ray thinking it was a skate. Missed barely. This time of year they are everywhere here too. I could spend time in jail for what I get for company that come to visit me. Its also time for the sting ray shuffle. Got stung once. Been stung by jellyfish too and that was worse. Hurt and made me sick.
I'm fired up, and I sincerely have some optimism. I hope we're a different team this year. I don't expect to win them all, but at least get back to beating vandy for now.I am starting to get pumped for football season. I guess the past dozen years have taken a toll, I am usually jonesing 5 minutes after the last game of the season.
Go Vols!
