Kinda crazy how our recruiting goes quiet for months at a time and then suddenly everything happens all at once. 2-3 commitments in a week plus a CB coming in for Whitehead. Hopefully Hardy pops outta nowhere

Would be big for momentum if Hardy and Baron committed and gave the class a strong bump, but that doesn't seem likely this month. They're on Jay and Tyler time.

I'm missing someone. I read that UF is down 6 people from 2019. Who's the 6th? I thought it was Wardrick Wilson, the OL, but according to his twitter he qualified and is all gators.

2018 Malik Langham SDE, transferred to Vanderbilt (.8975 composite)
2018 Noah Banks OT, medical retire (.8871 composite)
2018 Johnny Huggins safety, dismissed (.8858 composite)

2019 Chris Steele, CB, transferred to USC (.9782 composite)
2019 Arjei Henderson WR, JUCO (.9395 composite)
2019 Diwan Black, ILB, JUCO (.9356 composite)
2019 Deyavie Hammond, OL, JUCO (.9104 composite)
2019 Jalon Jones, QB, dismissed (.9001 composite)

Additionally
2018 4 star WR Jacob Copeland missed almost all of 2018 with hamstring injuries
2018 4 star OLB David Reese to miss 2019 with a torn achilles
2019 4 star CB Jaydon Hill is coming off a torn ACL

Kid from France or some foreign country.

Does anyone know how far from normal that many losses is? It feels like we lose a guy or two every year to grades or some other issue. Whatever the answer, I hope Florida has to hold open practices for DBs.
It's way past normal. Especially now with all the class size limits that discourage you from taking chances on qualifier risks.

Yep. Muschamp ruled out Thompson, and Pruitt earned his trust by telling him he knew he could get the grades and would save him a spot. JJP was close, but Pruitt had a plan. He looks at each situation individually, and so far, he's been a good judge of character and effort.

That's where having been a teacher and HS coach really helps. He's been around enough high schoolers to know which ones are worth taking a risk on and he also very likely know when HS coaches are pumping up their students and when they're shooting straight about a kid being this or that.

No way you can put TLJ on the director lol

I'd rank "fault" in this order

Editor
Writers
SFX
Cast/Director

I've seen a fan made "re-cut" of TLJ and it made it a lot better, unfortunately the writing was still weak so it couldn't save the film.
You realize Johnson was the head writer for TLJ, right? And he basically decided not to continue along the path JJ Abrams had mapped out for TFA sequal.

Looper. The Brothers Bloom. Brick. These are Rian Johnson films and all are far better than Star Wars "how much merch can we sale" films.
Better than TLJ isn't a high bar to set. Gotta hand it to him though, he directed some of the best episodes of breaking bad

TLJ was a Rian Johnson special. He is a subversive filmmaker and he brought that same style to Star Wars. He has good material in his portfolio and I've enjoyed a lot of his work...but TLJ ain't it. That movie is awful.
