Elvis early recordings were done at Sun Studios on Union Ave in Memphis. Johnny Cash also recorded there. His 1st No 1 I Walk The Line was recorded there in 1957. Here’s a blues version of it by one of Behr’s favs, Travis Tritt. Turn it up…… the volume & the bottle!!

Watched it. Yea, I love me some Travis Tritt and I like him and Marty together. That album Whiskey ain't workin anymore is on was awesome. Marty Stewart was/is a great guitar player, very underrated.

I know your not supposed to like covers more than the original, but since the originals are singing backup and in the video I think its okay . You've probably seen it, but I like this better than the original.

Thanks for this, great memories.

@NorCalVol67, That's just lovely! I wouldn't live in Miami for nothin' (climate), but I love seeing your pics. Nothing like lightning at night.

What floor is your condo on? You have flabbergasting views!

edited to point to NorCalVol

36th. When I was being transferred across the country to a place I knew no one, I decided I would at least get a place with views.

I do wish the climate was a bit more temperate.

Holy cow, 36 floors up, I might reconcile myself to the climate! That's effing awesome.

Note: there is no such thing as too many pics from 36 floors up.
