Got vacation time off 24th-28th and tickets to the USC game in Neyland in Oct.

Looking at plane fares from AZ to Knox...holy crap...$500 plus.

Why the hell doesn't TYS have southwest?

Just thought it was an interesting podcast interview. I enjoy Joe as a host a ton, he has a very unique way to adapt to guest that I've not seen from many host or interviewers.

It is interesting how many non-regulars quoted me though...

There's a reason Rogan's podcasts are so popular. So I get it, but that post was 100% political. lol.

Yea, but in the UF and MSU games, we had less than 250 total yards of offense. Defensive turnovers helped in both of those games. He certainly had some timely plays during the year, but overall, the defense really allowed us to win the title.

I NEVER said the defense didn’t win the Title, I said it was a team effort and when UT needed a play on offense Tee Martin made it, and without Tee UT doesn’t win the Title that season.

People tend to underestimate the number of offensive weapons JG has at his disposal. A better OL, MUCH better playcalling and better decision-making by the QB will make more of a difference than people are allowing. The offense negatively impacted the defense last year. That shouldn't be the case this year.

I don’t think we have bad weapons per say. But do we have a top 3 rounds pick at WR,RB,TE? I think we have a bunch of solid guys. Which isn’t a bad thing.

To be fair the NFL draft isn't what I'd consider the best place to gauge talent, in fact it might be worse than the star rankings for HS recruits honestly. Majority of 3 star or higher kids seem to do well at a higher % than the 2 star or below.

Obviously everyone knows about Tom Brady and him in the 6th round, but what most people fail to also discuss is the amount of early rounders that don't do anything. It's not just "finding" the gem in the late rounds, but also how many "sure things" are actual misses in the early rounds.

I say all this to say Ty Chandler may not go in the first 3 rounds, but he could have a Curtis Martin type career and his legacy would be quite different.

Do you remember off the top of yer head in August of that year if you thought we were gonna win every game? Or were you sending everyone beeper codes warning them not to get overhyped with an inexperienced QB after Peyton graduating? I assume you were in gotta see it on Saturday's to believe it mode.

Yes, everyone thought that UT would take a big step back. Because UT lost their most talented players on offense and defense in Manning and Little. Most predicted 7-4 or 8-3 at best. But, everyone knew that if they could beat Florida at home they had a chance for a great season.

And I didn’t have a beeper, just flip phone that only made calls. Hahahahaha.
