The 6 UF signees already out are Steele, Black, Henderson, Black, Hammond and Jalon Jones with Wilson still waiting correct?

That's their top signee, 4 of their top 10, and 6 (7 if Wilson can't get a visa) of their 17 4*s.

It isn't just that they're having a ton of attrition from that class. It's a lot of their best prospects too.
Going to be interesting to see how they spin out of it. I suppose you can survive one class like that but if you start stacking them on top of each other you can’t survive it.

Need them to have a bad year on the field.

I’m just not getting my hopes up over stuff like that. There’s been so many times where Florida was going through crap and we thought it would really hurt them, game time shows up and we get clapped.
Kind of how I feel. But I don’t think we have to win the battle this year to win the war, so to speak.

We need them to disappoint on their own.

Yea i mean it will be interesting to see how Mullen handles all this. Tactically he’s a great coach. But a lot of people get to a level like Florida and program management is just too much for them.

I'm missing someone. I read that UF is down 6 people from 2019. Who's the 6th? I thought it was Wardrick Wilson, the OL, but according to his twitter he qualified and is all gators.

2018 Malik Langham SDE, transferred to Vanderbilt (.8975 composite)
2018 Noah Banks OT, medical retire (.8871 composite)
2018 Johnny Huggins safety, dismissed (.8858 composite)

2019 Chris Steele, CB, transferred to USC (.9782 composite)
2019 Arjei Henderson WR, JUCO (.9395 composite)
2019 Diwan Black, ILB, JUCO (.9356 composite)
2019 Deyavie Hammond, OL, JUCO (.9104 composite)
2019 Jalon Jones, QB, dismissed (.9001 composite)

Additionally
2018 4 star WR Jacob Copeland missed almost all of 2018 with hamstring injuries
2018 4 star OLB David Reese to miss 2019 with a torn achilles
2019 4 star CB Jaydon Hill is coming off a torn ACL

What about the dude with the Visa issues? You might have him listed, I don't know his name.

I feel like we're witnessing the answer to "What if Butch Jones got the Florida job?" in real time. This looks like the beginning of the attrition train that hammered Butch's two highly ranked classes, plus the whole Title IX fiasco.

agreed. but i think at this point, they had the CC fraud deal last year with all the suspensions....the domestic violence issues this off season...the mass decommitments, and transfers and ineligible players...........

i mean, at some point, doesn't it all finally start to culminate? they can talk about how great the culture is down there, but does anyone really buy that?

seems like things people would say because they really don't have a choice but to say it, cause they're there, and they simply don't have a choice.

sound famililar?

i don't know if it culminates in FL having an awful year or not. but good grief, if there's anyone that should be primed for a tumble, shouldn't it be them?

and if there's someone primed for a break out year, shouldn't that be us?

if all things ar cyclical, then it certainly feels like things are circling the right way for us, and the wrong way for them.

beating them this year would do wonders....for both programs.

Anybody who thinks Tennessee fans are delusional hypemongers should check out Kentucky fans. They think they're Sherman marching to the top of the SEC, burning down any program that stands in their way. Apparently, Kroger field is the new Death Valley, where SEC dreams come to die.
😂😂😂

The only dreams dying on that field is their own

Jimmy on 104.5 this morning

“DL not going to be very good no matter who plays. Solomon 2nd best lineman behind Gooden. LBs aren’t good. Teams will run on Tennessee. That’s why I’m not as high on this team.”
I do not understand why anyone would listen to this jack-wad! He is possibly one of the biggest morons out there.

I think Tennessee fans are under evaluating our team overall. This is the first time in a long time that the majority is expecting 6-7 wins.

7-5 seems like a fair expectation to me. Last year's team probably wins 6 games with this year's OOC schedule. This roster should be substantially better than last year at every position group except for DL. Coaches are better as well. Locke and Shurmur being gone from Missouri and Vandy doesn't hurt either.

If UT only wins 6 games I'll be disappointed. I won't be calling for Pruitt to be fired or anything but I'll definitely lose some of my optimism.

Doesn't matter what we think though, only matters what they do. Let's sit back and enjoy the season.

SEC is a line of scrimmage league Vols are rebuilding both lines from departures and injuries. They have some talent to rely on but in the SEC everyone has talent. In the SEC you must stop the run and run it whenever you need to run it. It’s a Hugh question mark on both sides of scrimmage.

Vols should win all of their non conference games but the BYU game presents some match up problems because of their experienced offensive line against a young inexperienced UT D line. So I’m not certain UT will win that game.

As far as the conference is concerned, I don’t have a lot of faith the Vols can block anyone enough to finish drives. I’m not saying they will lose every SEC game but I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if UT lost to Mizzou, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, SC or Miss State. It’s going to come down to JG and the offense’s ability to put points on the board to get those wins. 7 wins sounds great but looking at the schedule, I have concerns about where they will come from.

The Vols will go as far as JG and the offense will take them this season!
