Yep. Muschamp ruled out Thompson, and Pruitt earned his trust by telling him he knew he could get the grades and would save him a spot. JJP was close, but Pruitt had a plan. He looks at each situation individually, and so far, he's been a good judge of character and effort.

What good points? Is Tennessee the only team that has coaches praise players in fall camp for doing well? Is his whole point that you shouldn't talk about what players are doing in camp but wait until they actually play in a game? Should we not be excited about what CJC can do with an offense? Or is the whole point don't expect anything good to happen because it didn't happen before?

“DL not going to be very good no matter who plays. Solomon 2nd best lineman behind Gooden. LBs aren’t good. Teams will run on Tennessee. That’s why I’m not as high on this team.”

Think we've known the defense would be flipflopped from last year. Better pass D than run D this year. Will need turnovers. But if being in the scheme for the 2nd year allows the whole group to be a notch better, I think that's enough considering what the offense may do.

Calculated Florida's class on 247 minus the 5 already out and Wardrick Wilson (who can't get a visa)...

252.45, good for 16th place



Calculated UT's class on 247 estimating the addition of Solomon and Gibbs (equivalent HS ratings)...

286.00, good for 4th place
