Bro, I'm really proud of everyone here resisting the urge to comment on the political stuff you manage to sneak in every few posts but come on.Cut the cord about 7-8 years ago. Rolled with internet only the whole time. $59.99 with Charter, now $64.99 with Comcast.
I now work for the cable company. We get most or all channels via streaming app. Noggin, NF, etc for kiddos. NF is $12.99 extra.
Will entertain the Hulu/Disney deal when it comes, but will ditch NF.
My viewing habits ebb and flow based on what is free. HBO is still free, so, i usually watch that content - as its free of tainted RW viewpoints.
If i have to start paying a .01 for TV, ill cancel it all.
We had rabbit ears growing up. So, i think we can make do. Worst case, ill have to start reading again.
Not really, they have cancel anytime policies and competition. Youtube rasied their rates once and added 10 channels when they did. I can always go over to PS vue or even back to sling if I want anytime I want.
go Youtube TV....you can stream on multiple devices. We started out with Sling, but like Youtube TV way to much, even after the price increases. We have like 400 movies DVR'd.We just cancelled dish yesterday. We are trying out Sling TV right now. May switch to YouTube TV since you can only have Sling on one device at a time.....but we have a HD Antenna for local channels so we went from paying $90 bucks a month for dish to now $45 a month with sling.
I'm rural so need Verizon's towers but use straight talk.Xfinity local channels package plus internet plus Sling runs me $89.
Old Netflix account so paying $7.99
Considering dumping Sling and Xfinity local channels and going with YouTube TV
Will dump Netflix and pay the extra $5.00 once the Disney+ service drops.
Going to keep in around $100 as best I can.
Now, anyone who can help me navigate cell phone bills, I'm all ears. Contract is up with Verizon and believe I can cut my bill in half, but don't know which providers stink as I've been with Verizon for almost 20 years.
