No i don’t lol. I’ve gave Pruitt a lot of credit. I also don’t think he was perfect, nor would any 1st time head coach especially one with a lot of 1st timers on his staff too.

If he didn’t do so well prepping and executing against auburn and Kentucky, i wouldn’t be so hard on him for Vanderbilt and Missouri (although i do think Missouri was a buzzsaw)

And the only reason they might expect a little more in recruiting from any coach would be if they were like a NC coach using name alone.
VN loves Leach but no one would being expecting him to do better on the trail, with our record, than Pruitt is. Unless you count that he would have more recruits because fillers. And that's it.

I don’t think it’s fair to assume a coach like leach ,who has brought two programs in P5 conferences with bottom 5 resources to new heights and had a lot of success, wouldn’t have a shot at winning big here. Especially at recruiting. Dude is putting players in the league at TTU and wazzou. He, like virtually anyone else, would be able to recruit well enough to be very successful here.

Butch was a total dweeb but brought in some studs early on. Same with Dooley.

Talk about shifting the point.

The few in here and dozens in FF that expect year 1 results have been griping like crazy. Exactly like they would about Leach in the same circumstances.

Those who understand the shape we are in, would be having the exact same patience with any coach other than maybe Saban.

I don't believe your theory that Pruitt is getting special treatment.

Why do in favor of Leach? Just asking. I’m not as sold on him just for recruiting alone. Just wanna hear your opinion.

Love CML, but like I said when I thought we were going to hire him I was willing to enjoy the pirate leading the Vol Navy, being the underdog that won some games, and awesome press conferences. Was planning on just enjoying a fun college atmosphere because he would have recruited well enough to win some games like you said. I would not have paid too much attention to recruiting. CJP is determined to build a championship team. We know recruits are waiting to see what happens on the field so no one is focusing on where we are rated right now. Besides we're really liking the 3*s from last year in Burrell, Simmons,Harrison, etc. Why do you want to bring up games lost last year and why people don't want to fire the coach when the new season is about to start???
