It’s easy to have an opinion quantified by “not sure”. We’ll see soon...He looks good from his frame alone, but he produced poorly. 2.8 ypc vs p5 opponents and a fumble every 17 carries. Not sure what he's disproven yet. He's got to show a lot more imo if he's going to be a factor this year with Grey in the rotation.
well i think it's pretty common knowledge, the fumbles are what kept him off the field last year. did he miss the opportunity then? dunno. It’s easy to have an opinion quantified by “not sure”. We’ll see soon...
I like this guy, I think. This is his ranking of SEC programs, all time.

Where I began the conversation about Banks was answering whether or not he is an SEC caliber RB because a poster knows someone who’s “familiar” with him in high school. I felt the need to try and squash that because I feel like he is. I don’t think anyone here has argued that his ball security was an issue. I also don’t think that if someone argues that he out ran his blocks or the lack there of that anyone would argue that either.well i think it's pretty common knowledge, the fumbles are what kept him off the field last year. did he miss the opportunity then? dunno.
but a good place to start is fix the ball control issues.
i think we'll see all 4 guys get carries this year. and i could see gray and chandler doing most of their damage as pass catchers.
while no one would probably tell you TN has a "great" backfield, quietly, i looks like we're 4 deep, and could put any combination of the Jordan/chandler or banks/gray on the field and probably see similar results, or if nothing else, not change the game plan or playing calling.....
i like our RB room right now all in all (not saying you or anyone else doesn't).
While Chaney wasn’t happy, Trey Smith’s work ethic continues to stand out above the rest. Smith was pulled from a drill to allow a fellow offensive lineman to get a rep and instead of taking a rep off, Smith stood 10-or-so-yards behind the drill and went through the rep on his own. Chaney threw Jahmir Johnson out of a drill at one point.
I think he’ll have a much better season than many want to admit to. I also think the guy plays with more passion than just about anyone outside of JJ that we’ve had in several years.

Yuck.
