Not sure how I feel about this Hard Knocks college thing... I mean, if they want to embrace the "hard knocks' idea of it, then I get most of the teams featured, but not Bama... that seems like an unfair advantage for them with recruiting... "Hey look how great we are even if you don't come for a visit"... you have three teams who are trying to rise up, and then the one elite program who doesn't need any help... what is so hard knocks about bama?? What, fighting 4-5* depth for every position, having endless resource$$ and anything and everything you want as a player just a request away? F them... they can "hard knock" my nutz...

only good thing would be if Lyle was on there getting coffee and doughnuts for everyone and shining players shoes and doing their laundry....

Given how Last Chance U seemed to derail the JUCO juggernaut EMCC for a couple of seasons, I'm all for Bama having to deal with inflated egos and Saban being exposed for the raging !@#hole he seems to be to the next crop of players he's trying to recruit.

It’s not saying he’s not good enough. It’s saying they were comfortable with their backfield but took a Rb anyway and came in and impressed.

It’s not unheard of to think that he wouldn’t come in and play over chandler, banks, and Jordan.

Also let’s not qct like TN high school football is texas. There’s been some mr. footballs that never did anything at this level.

Lets not pretend that he was just a flyer either. The staff didn't just say, meh, lets take this kid to fill a spot. He was a top target of the staff and not because he was projected as a "project".

We could have quite a few new guys earning their way into the 2-deep. Lowe has a pretty good shot of being one of them. Think he's already passed up everybody but DWA. Wish some of the older guys like Fant, MGray and Byrd could find a spot.

I really like what Byrd did from the slot his freshman year. I feel like surely he could do something there on slant routes.

I doubt it’s finalized at this point, and of course it’s just all speculation.

It's Jim Chaney...so don't expect our 2nd string QB to just JT by default since he's already used a RS and they want to RS Maurer.

It'll be whoever he feels is the 2nd best QB regardless of their class. Having up to 4 games to play before burning a RS also helps this situation. Ideally though JG stays healthy and we don't ever see our #2.
