Over night oats. In the winter you can still warm it up if you'd rather not eat it cold. Oats and almond milk, sometimes cinnamon. Never sugar or fruit for me.Brown sugar AND honey in hot oatmeal (salted to taste). Yep, mm hm, okie dokie.
I dunno about mixing oats, yogurt, almond milk and flavoring(s) of choice, leaving this in the fridge overnight, and eating it cold for breakfast the following morning. A friend of mine does this with vanilla almond milk, cinnamon sugar, or fruit preserves during the warmer months and swears by it. The idea doesn't induce me to try it... Any of you eat oats this way?
Figure I would add a pic since a lot of other folks had.
The reason that I am squinty eyed and listing to port is due to being about 1/2 way into a quart of untaxed corn.

I am suddenly craving country fried steak and eggs.
You could probably satisfy that craving at a Waffle House, Denny's , Cracker barrel or Bob Evans. I bet you could find a decent frozen chicken fried steak at Publix that would be ready out of the microwave by the time you finished frying your eggs.
FWIW, I did (and do) want to post that either of these are bad, and both at the same time are brutal. That’s too much to deal with at once. I’m sorry about your mom, and also about your business, as I would have loved to come by for a meal. Well-prepared seafood is so damn hard to find....My mom died 5 days short of a month before that happened and I was just getting started on my "business divorce", and I wasn't keeping up with anything...
