"They" is that all encompassing term for those who remain anonymous and screw up anything and everything ... sometimes by incompetence and sometimes by sabotage.. You'll never know who "they" is because they don't want to be associated with what they screw up. The best way to avoid taking the fall for them is to tell them you'll do what they want only if they put it in writing. You can bet whoever takes the fall for this won't have been the decision maker and won't have taken that one precaution that could save him/her.

Precisely. The Manhattan Jail is a federal detention center under the auspices of the DOJ, headed by AG Bill Barr. Not seeing how "they" would have let him live since they apparently didn't. Particularly since "they" are in charge of the Dept of Prisons and this facility.

Additionally, Epstein reported an assault in July which "they" described as a suicide attempt. Why were there not video cameras recording his activity this morning?
