Not sure about fired, but either they administered the test incorrectly or sometimes the field tests can produce a false positive. I had that happen in a case, too. The substance needs to be tested at a lab to confirm it is illegal.
Still not sure what causes that confusion, never really thought of the 2 as similar in any form. First I've heard of an officer making that leap.

Not sure on their theory of why it was on the hood and at that speed.
* But all in question form, found it better to not make declarations without details.

Bad look for the police...honest mistake or racially biased bs, it’s a PR nightmare in 2019

Yea, it’s certainly strange. I didn’t read a whole lot about it but assume they thought he put it on the car when taken out.

My case involved a substance found in a house. My client swore it was plant food, and lab results came back that it was not an illegal substance.

I wear Teva's and it's the most comfortable sandal available. I call the JC Water Walkers

I got some Keen closed-toe sandals about 2.5 years ago, and they’re not even close to worn out despite the mileage. When they finally do give out, I’ll be getting some more just like them. Best sandals I’ve ever had, and nothing else I’ve ever owned is even close.
