The Atlanta Braves

I think Dallas is a possibility. I don’t think JD will.
Why wouldn't he? He seems to be enjoying himself and he supposedly grew up a Braves fan.

Seems like Atlanta would be as good a place as any if he wants to get to a World Series over the next 3 to 5 years with the talent they should be fielding over that time period.

1) I don’t think Atlanta is going to give a soon to be 34 year old one position play with a history of leg injuries the long term contract he is probably going to seek.

2) Riley is the third baseman of the future and should be ready to hold down that spot next year. He will cost a lot less than JD.

3) They’ll probably focus their money into pitching or find a true corner OF.

I wouldn’t mind seeing them both come back next year, Donaldson in particular. I don’t think Riley is quite ready to be an offensive cornerstone and Donaldson keeps the lineup balanced.

That's the way I was leaning too. Riley isn't ready and Camargo has disappeared.

Some dude nicknamed “belli” and his slawdog dude friends can’t match my shine 😎😎😎😎

Tauchman (2.9 WAR) and Urshela (2.4) are the only new "scrubs." All the other guys have played for the Yanks already.

Of which both dudes would be Top 5 on the Braves in WAR so....
🤷🏾‍♂️

Maybin, whoever the scrub catcher was that hit 2 random ass HR last night, the list goes on and on and we haven’t talked about the pitching yet. How does it feel knowing you have no shot against Houston? Hate that for ya.

A guy with over 1,000 games played in MLB (including for the s****y a** Braves for a year). Higashioka (who a Yankee fan would know who he is) first 3 MLB hits went for HRs last year (played in 2017 too), and is a backup. Still better pitching than the Braves. Took Houston to game 7, not that worried.

Did Houston add anyone at the deadline?
