My ole my, why is there such a meltdown. He is one player. Yes we are thin on the d-line but come on. I think we will be aight! Great opportunity for the younger men. Go Vols!!!!

It's not the end of the world but with him in the lineup we have a legitimate SEC D-line. Without him, It's not so certain.

Dude wtf are you talking about. No one said anything disparaging about Gooden. "Next man up" is a mindset for the team not a negative on Gooden, and Emmitt Strong? Really? He doesn't have cancer. He can rehab and come back next year stronger than ever.
you didn't read back far enough in the commets if you didnt read dude say put a band aid on him thats what im talking about

My theory is that one of the bigger contributing factors is the diets kids eat today. In general over-sugared and over-salted, high carbohydrate, and over-grease junk. Stuff that doesn't contribute to strong bones, ligaments, and overall good health. It isn't just us but you see it in the numerous injuries on other football teams. Also in sports where impacts of all kinds demand body resiliency. Gymnastics, basketball, even tennis. Pre-digital age moms were right when they insisted you eat your vegetables.
Oh, man. We have cut most of that crap out on our keto diet. I have lost over sixty pounds, my wife, forty. My 17 year started following it and went from 320 to 290 (6'3" ) . The carb/sugar addiction in this country is going to be catastrophic. I'm thinking investing in diabetes clinics might be the way to go.

This is happening to a lot of schools not named Georgia, Alabama and Clemson these days.

It's called TV ratings! ESPN and a few more influence recruiting, ratings, and yes the NCAA. Been going on for a long time. The rich keep getting richer!

During his recruitment, I thought they would try to redshirt him. After he showed up that was out the window. He was going to play this year...a lot!
My initial thought was the same that he would redshirt but he has clearly impressed and suprised the staff with his overall progression and development

Yes, but we are already terribly thin on the DL. We simply can’t lose these guys and it not have a serious impact. We were already going to have a hard time replacing the DL, this seriously puts us behind the preverbal 8-ball.
It’s not a good thing but your “there’s no next man” precludes and discounts who’s on our roster. They were going to have to step up anyway...this just intensifies the need for their efforts to be successful. Book ain’t wrote on this one.

The question is, why'd you read it? Is it because like a moth you're drawn to what you consider dumb posts? Given your response, that's unquestionably YOUR problem. Especially also given you felt compelled to reply.
Wouldn't he need to read the post first before determining if he felt like it was the dumbest post ever :p
