i think it was a big question mark for most, definitley, but you at least had an anchor, EG, and hoping for good news on AS....to silence the red alert faction.

we're one "access denied" message on AS away from a full on starship enterprise red alert lol.

we have bodies, and one thing has not changed regarding that...we really just do not know how good or bad that group is going to be. that part hasn't changed. so your point has merit.
Agreed. Imo if I could pick one guy on defense who would if hurt would be the most detrimental to the team, it would be Gooden. I'm sure many will pick others but he would be my pick. DL is the biggest question and then lose the 1 known quantity.. Go figure..

Interesting that one injury has people freaking out.

That position was clearly the weak spot on the team, and the Gooden injury makes it worse, obviously, but I’m not sure why everyone is going to red alert status. Should’ve probably already been there.

The only incumbent who appeared to get to the backfield.

Right now. It’s on the surface pretty terrible.

Until it’s not.

gooden or taylor on defense....could argue for either one.

but @Kingston Vol is correct. the DL was a ? regardless. it's just a lot bigger question now, with a whole lot less margin for error on the health front.

They won't but we need to. When we're in playoff contention we can schedule teams like that. We're rebuilding. Wins matter.
We could win by 30 against UTC and people would say it doesn't matter cause it's only UTC. I would rather have a shot at a good team than some d2 team.

Never have understood why it's fair to the rest of the conference when UF/UGA get to play each other at a neutral site every year instead of playing on the road every other year. UF uses it as their away game in 2020, and they play 3 conference road games with two being Vandy and Ole Miss.
Never seen it as an advantage for either. Like the Texas/Oklahoma game it’s annual event and pretty damn awesome.

Absolutely so sub it out with a team like Virginia who GA is playing. Get a win and then let our reputation be based on how we play against Fl, Ga, and Bama. No reason to schedule an OOC game like OU when you already play 2 playoff caliber teams in the regular season.
