For some reason, I don't think "space-eater" when I think about your potential career as a DT.

So then every visiting team should hit 30+ bombs in Camden each year, right?
Not familiar with their lineup, but the yanks have long been constructed to take advantage of the short porch in right field.

Plus, the pearl, or whatever the kids are calling the juiced ball, is flying out of parks at an all-time pace. That and the launch angle craze, I guess.

Oh, and that Yankee’s payroll...

Solomon simply MUST be cleared, or we are in huge trouble
Interesting that one injury has people freaking out.

That position was clearly the weak spot on the team, and the Gooden injury makes it worse, obviously, but I’m not sure why everyone is going to red alert status. Should’ve probably already been there.

Those games don’t matter in the grand scheme. Great pub and media attention.

Lose that one and win sec and you’re still in the playoff. especcially when the playoff expands.
These guys wanting to buy out of the OK game need to grow a pair. I would rather play 4 games like that than GA State and UTC every year. Glorified unwatchable practices.

I haven't lowered my win total prediction. 15 will be more challenging, but still the expectation.

honestly, it doesn't matter to me anymore.

we've had opportunites in the not so distant past to beat OU, Bama, GA, FL etc.....and blew it.

it's just another opportunity to do something great.

one day, some day, we'll just have to go do it. but if you don't play them, you don't have the chance to beat them.
:)

i think it was a big question mark for most, definitley, but you at least had an anchor, EG, and hoping for good news on AS....to silence the red alert faction.

we're one "access denied" message on AS away from a full on starship enterprise red alert lol.

we have bodies, and one thing has not changed regarding that...we really just do not know how good or bad that group is going to be. that part hasn't changed. so your point has merit.

Yup. And it's not going to be a beatdown. This will be Y3 of Pruitt, not Y2 of Butch.

Biggest concern is if JG leaves...with our WR corps already gone...can we score enough to stick real close?

Same ones will wonder why we are playing cupcakes once we are good again. Nobody can project 5 years in advance. Just bring on the big boys and build your program against that high bar you have set.

For sure. I guess my whole point is that if you were dependent on keeping every defensive tackle healthy in this conference in order to survive - and you can’t afford to lose one or two - you were in a bad spot to begin with.

I’m not trying to rag on Emmit, especially given his injury, but we needed Williams, Solomon and Simmons to be better than him this year to compete anyway.

agreed.

very doubtful to go a whole season w/out some LOS dings and dents.

i think i would have preferred to get a few games under our belts first though.

not even getting the chance to see this group at full strength (whatever that means lol) just kinda sucks.....

We’re still in better shape than the old days of “a pair and a spare”

Smh, UGA and FL

Never have understood why it's fair to the rest of the conference when UF/UGA get to play each other at a neutral site every year instead of playing on the road every other year. UF uses it as their away game in 2020, and they play 3 conference road games with two being Vandy and Ole Miss.
