I dont "not like jg", I just don't think he is a good qb. Some of yall think there has to be some personal animosity involved in sporting opinions. It's a game, relax.

And I don’t think he’s the best QB in the SEC. I jut think he gets a bad rap because we are deficient in other areas that affect how good he CAN be. Wait......we’re not starting this again are we? I’m too tired

It’s because you seem to go out of your way to come in the practice threads and rip him. I’m not sold on JG myself but I admire his toughness and respect his commitment. I’m hoping this is is year, and with Chaney on board, I’m slightly optimistic. If this year is to go like I hope it does, we need JG to have a breakout season.

Anyway, that’s my opinion. Not that anyone asked. 😬

Like I said, I hope..like others..that Chaney can make a difference and JG does well. The better he does the better our team will be. But I'm not holding my breath. We'll find out in a few weeks.

I'll gladly eat crow over Trey. If, however, I'm right I will not expect crow from anyone. It won't be a celebration time, a wonderful achievement, or something to brag about. Until he's doing more than drills against dummies, pads and air, I hold no expectations for him. Working out hasn't been his problem, impacts and abuse of his body has. I hope he makes millions, and plays a long career. I just also don't expect it to happen.

He has earned the right to start by taking his ass kickings and always getting back up. I'm rooting for him because of this, and because he is our starter. Hope he lights the world on fire because that means we win more games.

Like I said, I don't think you dislike him, I think you're just trolling his "fan boys".
Your repetition is way too high and your comments way too strong to be dislike or even the "sporting opinion" you claim. Nobody puts that much effort into "here's my opinion" lol.

Wasn't expecting you to admit it, but yeah, I think you're having fun.

Understand that.
I'm far from "blame it all on the OL", there was plenty of wrong to go around. But I can't imagine focusing it all on 1 individual, especially in whatever Helton was running.
Our weaknesses exaggerated one another, imo. Personally expecting improvement all around this year, especially given Chaney's strengths with QBs, OL and system.

It's amazing that we are labeled a "hater" just because we don't believe he's a good QB. He is tough and seems to be a good leader, but he just doesn't seem to have it.

I think you could give him an NFL o-line and he would be just average. Slow release, can't seem to read a defense, and his deep passes ( not the little 5 yard passes that turn into long gains) seem to float. 12 TD passes in 12 games is awful.

This is what I saw the last 2 years. Hopefully he has improved along with everyone else.

That's all I was saying. He may very well blame JG but you don't put in that amount of energy unless it brings some satisfaction, I don't care what you're job is😅

Plus, many are worded with a "get under their skin" vibe, way more than a skillset critique.
