I’m not going to get back into arguing their size but to me the DL is our worst position group. I think that’s the group that could really hurt us and keep us from winning 8-9 games

Well itll either be OL or DL. Both have talented starters but not much depth.

Where are all the haters now that were complaining about Barnes and his three-star takes back in years 1 and 2??

Oh yeah.. they’ve drifted here to the recruiting forum...
Now they’re disgruntled accountants. 😏

Need to say this before the season actually starts because I don't like seeing any program in trouble, even UF or UGA. Young lives and their futures are at stake.

If our guys focus on themselves and becoming the very best they can be, it will not matter what happens elsewhere. It will just come down to the best team in each game winning. Which is how our guys lost so many times to the Gators when we should have won because our talent was better. Our guys did not focus enough and commit to the the daily grind of becoming the best they could be as a team of one. So when the lights came on they underperformed, missed assignments and gave up. More talented teams lost, less talented teams won.

CJP and staff know this. When our guys start winning games even with less talent we will know where it is all headed. Personally, I am just enjoying the journey as they work their way through the years to the top. Because just like CRB has proven with the B-ballers, this way of doing things works at a high level.

Strengths: QB, WR, CB

I think JG will do well if he has enough time. Chaney could be a big factor. Clearly the veteran and talented WRs are a strength. The corners under Pruitt will always be deadly.

Middling: RB, LB, Interior DL, S

The RBs are all pretty average by SEC standard, at least thus far. Linebackers are a bit of a question mark for me, possibly a weakness. Not sure about our production outside Taylor and Bituli. We have some big ol boys to eat up the middle of the line but lack depth. Would like to see Warrior step his game up this year a bit at safety, he has the ability.

Weakness: OL, Pass Rush, TE

I'm in have to see it to believe it mode on the OL. We should be improved, but how much will we be realistically? We NEED Trey! Darrell Taylor is a good pass rusher, but we need more pieces there. Wood Anderson has all the tools to be great, but is not proven and behind him is very young and inexperienced players.

Not totally of base here. I'd rate lb a little higher... If nothing else you got two good ones and the star should be productive and deep. And with warrior basically in a contract year abd flowers back I think we're gonna be ok at safety.

Flowers will be a beast in another year or so
