After the publicity we got from the coaching search, it's probably not a good idea to try to make Butch search for a job especially if nobody really wants him. Although it is hard to do it's best just to move forward and pay the bum.

Like with the "quiet" part. I thought he was building up to how hard they were working and how tired they are from the deep competition and heat. But he just blathered and then trailed off.
Read the FF and sure enough, someone brought it up as "concerning".

Don't be a homer but I watched everything available and it was roughly 80/20 good. His write up sounded 60/40 iffy. Just write what it is.

I thought the"quietness"comments were strange. I was thinking it could be just because they were being focused and no messing around kind of thing. Not sure it was such a negative thing to not be talking. I get that encouraging each other is important but why would you make that such a huge part of your comments. Just weird.

I think he’s always been weird, but no one cares when you are the best coach the program has had. He can develop talent, but I always thought he would have trouble recruiting at UT.

But I said it when he was considered and I will say it now- his record at MSU was fluffed up with some terrible non conference schedules. Yes, I know it’s MSU, but all you have to do is look at the records. Glad he’s at UF.

I think it just came off wrong to some, like he was being intentionally negative and it seems that's how some of the board took it. Meh
