I’m not gonna lie, I was one of the ones who thought Mullen would be good here. Not great, but solid. With him being at Miss St I guess his idiocy just flew under the radar for me, and all I saw was that he had won more there than just about anyone else ever had. Now that he is under the microscope at FL I’m seeing what a bad fit he really is for a big-time program, and I’m definitely feeling like we dodged a bullet.

Plus his recruiting... not great Bob. It looks good on paper, but the vast majority of his commits are from Fl. He wouldn’t have that luxury here. And he isn’t landing the best of the best in that state either. Further, who knows how many of those guys actually make it there judging from last years debacle of a class

dude already had that florida stank on him, that never washes off, didn't want him anywhere near here.

I think he was more comfortable in his own skin at MSU, and high school football in Mississippi is under-rated by recruiting services. Put those together, and he was the ball coach that MSU needed at that time.

However, he went to Florida and just got f@&$ing weird and I think it’s because, whether he wants to admit or not, he will always be in Urban’s shadow.

Yall are a lot more confident in fLorida's demise than I am with Danny boy at the helm. He took them from 4-7 to 10-3 in year one including an absolute molestation of our guys on national TV. Hopefully this tough offseason leads to an opening loss to Miami and a thrashing by us but it'll be pretty tough. That being said screw fLorida.
