They shouldn’t be responding to questions framed like this. This was from the guys at Rocky Top Insider 2 or 3 days ago - from their mail bag:

Seen a lot of JJP bust talk. Let me give you my two cents there.
1. The coaching staff as of this evening is still very high on him. He has the raw talent and athleticism to be truly great..
2. That being said he isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed and will need more coaching and time based on what i know to get ready
3, He will see playing time this year and should get progressively better as the year goes on. Next year will be the oh **** moment though IMO when he lives up to the hype.
Should apply to all of them. Seen a lot of people saying stuff like this about JJP or JG, just to open a different thread and see the same poster trash talking an OL, RB or receiver. Hell, I've probably been guilty. The worst possible thing for a 19 year old kid struggling to make higher education work so far away from home is to make him feel like everyone thinks he’s an idiot and doomed.
We’ve got to fix the way we talk about this.
Even more reason for his head to be somewhere else a lot of the time. No one doubts what football can do for this young mans future. The point is, he's still young and trying to cope with everything he has going on in life right now. It's going to take more time than what fans want to give him.Ok. I doubt his child is in Knoxville but to your point football can provide so much for him and his family
Nope. Had to redshirt as a freshman. Definitely a dumb bust. Most kids aren't ready right away.Even more reason for his head to be somewhere else a lot of the time. —Ubben• On the opposite end of the spectrum, freshman receiver Ramel Keyton had a quiet spring and has been running near the rear of the receivers during drills. Summer arrivals like To’o To’o and Darnell Wright have not done the same during practice. The receivers are deep and will be a strength in 2019, but it’s clear Keyton has some ways to go if he’s going to get on the field this year.
My wife made waffles this morning out of cinnamon roll protein powder. Holy crap they’re good! 127 cals for 23 grams of protein![]()
