Thanks - he just looks so frail in that video.

I thought the same thing yesterday. His shirt just hung on him, and he didn't seem well. I hadn't seen him in almost a year, and I wondered if he was having health issues again. I really hope not. I know we all make jokes sometimes, but he's a stand-up guy.

Gavin Bryant issue

Wasn't the issue with Cordarrelle Patterson other than the classroom that he never learned how to run routes? He was such a freak athlete Bray would still figure out a way to get the ball to him regardless. He just never knew in advance where CP would be. Basically just go out and I'll find you. lol

I used to slay in backyard football with this method. CP84 has made a fortune 😂

He just went out there and made plays. If we can get JJP to do that, we'll be good.

I think touches will be closer to 70-75 in an "ideal" situation with Chaney.

I don't know how I would break it down my individual players, but by position groups here's my best guess

35 touches to RB (via carries/passes)
20-25 touches to WR (mostly passes, could see a few carries too since this group has so much speed)
5-10 touches to TE (I would be surprised to see it hit 10 catches a game, but I think DWA is a monster and Chaney will feed him if teams can't matchup)
2-5 touches to QB (broken plays or designed runs, I expect RPO to show up some)

I also think as the season progresses we may see Warrior at NB and Jaylen back as a SS.

I love the idea of a headhunter at NB and Warrior is great at defending the run, but hasn't ever looked comfortable in coverage. I think Jaylen might be ready to step into that "center fielder" type role sooner rather than later. Him and Flowers as our deep guys with Warrior, Taylor & Bryce closer to the line is a dream situation to me based on what I've seen of each player thus far.

At LB I think unless we see injuries the most likely freshmen to see meaningful snaps are Crouch & Roman. I think Henry could end up being the best of the bunch, but there's more experience ahead of him and he got a later start this year. Crouch & Roman both can be used as edge rushers or blitzing interior guys from day 1. It's part of their commitment to showing up in great shape and being sponges in the weight room & film room.

But I'm just a fan, so what do I know. I'm more excited this season than I have been since Dobbs' senior year.

Yep but it’s more risky to do that at LB than Wr

Maybe the first step is for him to just be a rush DE with no other responsibilities

Making it easier for him might help his progression... but CJP wants LBs to learn the defense inside-out. With the two FR progressing quickly, it's possible JJP could be shifted, though. A few more weeks of practice reps and he should be better.

I always confuse myself but I thought he was already working with the rush LBs?

Monday's podcast. I think they've gotten 2+ microphones guys here we go!

EDIT: Ron beat me by literally seconds, respect
