I’ve just said he needs to figure out what he wants to do/be. He was first a DE then he was set on TE because he wanted the ball in his hands, now WR. I was saying this when everyone was saying he was all UGA and I was saying he wasn’t.

All the blocking talk, has come from him, not innuendo. He runs Very smooth routes for a TE like Gronk, but Gronk will block his (butt) off. Even if he settles on WR, UT, Bama, and Ga require their WR to block, a Lot. At UGA, if you aren’t willing to block, you aren’t playing. Ask any Ga fan, media, or player like former #1 WR Drob. Maybe that is why he visited Clemson??? Think he changes his tune.

Don't worry about it, like I said "if it wasn't" you.
But anyway, I have to wonder if he's meaning he's concerned about blocking or concerned about playing for a team AS a blocker. We did that with some receivers in the past, especially TE's.
It's one thing to expect some blocking, it's another when you're kinda known for it.

I don’t think people are understanding what he is trying to say. It’s not that he don’t want to block because he can move people around. It’s that he wants to be targeted more than 2 times a game like he would be in a run heavy offense. Arik has a great skill set and he works very hard at it. He just wants to catch some balls.

That's what I'm suggesting. I doubt he would have ever been looking in the SEC if he were worried about doing some blocking but kids want to be known for reeling it in.
Sounds (to me) like he just wants to make that clear.

Coach Morgan has done a great job of using Arik in a ton of different ways as well. It’s a role he can easily transition to. Arik blocks well. The buck sweep and zone that Marietta runs with Kimani that is effective is in large part because of receiver blocking

Tell us whatever you hear! Doesn't matter if someone else has heard it somewhere else and reported it. The more that are hearing it the more reliable it may be.

You need to get there early if you want to see bears. They're most active in the morning before it gets hot.

AV has never operated in that fashion. I don't take his posts as absolutes, until he does. He said a few weeks ago that we need to take Gilbert off the list. That is absolute in AV speak. Then right after, rumors start swirling out of Georgia, and Hubbs says we aren't out of it. Now it sounds like maybe Clemson is getting in the pic. None of it makes sense when the two most definitive sources are pulling in opposite directions.

Well I know for fact that other fan bases know of AV just like we do, UGA for sure does; whether they believe him or not is their judgment. When this first happened it made me think he was throwing out shade on purpose. Honestly, I hope he is. I don’t want anyone knowing what the staff doesn’t let out.
