Great. My daughter, which was given the nickname Amazon Queen by the Fedex man, got me a firestick on Prime Day. I planned on getting YouTube TV because that is what y'all said. She said she has it with hers. It is an option along with Netflix, Tubi etc. on the home screen. How difficult is it?
dunno, i think @bignewt got it to work on his? i've got rokus all over the house, so downloading apps hasn't been issue....

Question, If you use the YouTubetv app and have smart TVs. Can you stream from the APP to your TV with say like an Ipad or iPhone? I ask because seems to be some issues getting firesticks to work right.
I'm guessing your smart TV doesn't have the YouTubeTV app? In that case you'd need a Roku type device, other than firestick. Chromecast works for streaming from a phone or ipad.

The last two televisions I have bought, are the TLC’s which are Roku tv’s with all hardware already included, love them!
Incredibly well-priced TV's at Costco, with an unmatched warranty. I bought one not too long ago to replace an old Samsung in my living room and it's solid. The Roku integration is phenomenal.

I can do like BIGNEWT and force it on the firestick. Was just looking for ease because of the family. Chromecast is what we have, didn't think of that.

This may just be a part of your personality to be persnickety. But perhaps we could make a perfunctory request for a change. Please peruse for a term that would that would be perfect, or at least permissible, for you. We will not allow this to perpetuate or persist. We must perservere.
Not perturbed.

Having previously had PSVue prior to making the switch to YouTubeTV, I feel strongly YouTube is superior. The user interface is also much more akin to cable, therefore it is easier for the technology challenged individual. I also recommend running them through Apple TV vs Roku. Have both at my house and the Roku is inferior when it comes to streaming and clarity.

We get the local CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC plus SEC, ESPN, ESPN 2, FS1, FS2, Golf, etc with the standard subscription. Also, can have up to 5 different users on 1 account so therefore you could technically split it with friends of family for around $10/per person per month. Not bad for 50 channels.
Can you have a different user in another county on the same account as a user for YouTubeTV? I would like to have my daughter's on mine if it is possible.

Recently cut the cord and got YouTubeTV. I use the Apple TV downstairs and the Roku upstairs. Both work great. Crystal clear HD and no buffering issues at all.

Only issue I’ve had is still having to deal with the internet of ATT. I had to switch modems when I cancelled my Internet+TV package and went to a just Internet package. They literally sent me the same modem, nothing different, just made me switch because it was technically a new account. They sent a self install modem and now it won’t connect (issue on their end not mine) so a tech has to come out and fix it. 2 days of no internet or TV. My wife and I are going insane.

oh, glad to hear that. i was looking at some of those, and thought they gotta be too good to be true.....i'll keep looking.

I cut the cord a year ago...out of all the options I went with a Fire TV 4k (Amazon Product) and have HULU live which includes ESPN (SEC Network), major networks as well as FS1. If you go this route you may have to download the Watch ESPN App (or whatever they call it now) to get some games that may not be showing on ESPN, ESPN 2 or SEC Network.
We're cutting the cord too. Technically we already have. We're *ahem* living with my in-laws while we're building our dream home, which will hopefully be done in 8 months...
