The problem with Youtube TV is they don't have Viacom channels. And my daughter loves her some paw patrol and SpongeBob

nope. just their channel line up. how much is psvue? does it have the sports channels?
yeah, i get the regional fox networks for my area, nbcsports, golf, all the ESPN's, SECN, and the ESPN3 games...i think the only one i don't get is the CBSN....which isn't really a thing for me. get NFL and NHL, MLB, NBA....and all the locals.....and i don't get the SECN alternate. which hasn't been an issue since i hve all the ESPN3. or just use the ESPN app, which does recognize psvue as a provider.....so, yeah, i don't really miss anything sports wise.

$53/mo....

I hear you...our workaround is the Nick app and using a relative's Dish network login info.

I signed up for YouTube TV. That is the way to go. For my newer smart TV it works like a charm.

I have an older LG Smart TV in my bedroom (pre 2014) and there isn't a YouTube TV App available for that older model. Anybody know a way (Firestick, Roku...?) that I can access YouTube TV on an older smart TV?

Roku works flawlessly.

you answered you're own question, except apparently firestick doesn't offer youtubtv, and you can't download the app unless you go thru some gymanstics to get it done.

Roku would probably be the easiest one.....

This guy right here knows what he's talking about.

Oh, hey Freak! Didn't even realize that was you!

How does Roku work? Do I need to buy anything other than the hardware? I guess if I already have a YouTube TV account can I just use the Roku to access my account? The issue is there is no App available native to this TV.

Question, If you use the YouTubetv app and have smart TVs. Can you stream from the APP to your TV with say like an Ipad or iPhone? I ask because seems to be some issues getting firesticks to work right.

Great. My daughter, which was given the nickname Amazon Queen by the Fedex man, got me a firestick on Prime Day. I planned on getting YouTube TV because that is what y'all said. She said she has it with hers. It is an option along with Netflix, Tubi etc. on the home screen. How difficult is it?

YouTube has an app on the firestick but YouTubeTV is different.
