All Thangs Pussum and Chad Thread

Behr have you ever had spam tacos?
No, not because I'm too uppity but because I've never thought of making spam tacos.

What I have had, as of today, and stringently object to anyone I know, and like having, is cannoli's from Publix.

Was there this morning and noticed they had just made them "fresh" and thought why not? It's not easy to fawk up cannoli's, but Publix did. I bought 2 @ 1.99 each. The shells were hard and one end was dipped in chocolate and almost required a hammer to break off. The other end had been dipped in chocolate chips damned near the size of Hershey kisses and the ricotta tasted like it was made with water and had a smooth consistency of whipped cream. Didn't have any confectioner sugar for an attempt at presentation.... I almost took them sum bishes back, but I was afraid they would have told me I was a dumbass for buying Cannolis from Publix in the first place. Turrble Turrble Turrble.

I'm not a fan of Publix. I tried. But I just don't have a good experience shopping there.

Somebody probably would go online and say you told them to go back to where they came from. 🤣

I like Publix, but their produce sections (multiple stores) are mystifyingly small. It’s weird when the produce area in our crappy Ingles on Haywood Rd is twice as big as that in lah-de-dah South Asheville.

Ingles have alot of things you like that Publix doesn't? Just curious. Publix produce department here is small, compared to farmers market, but everything is top notch and super fresh and they always have what I need and most of the time they have in-season speciality items.

That was a long sentence. Haha. I agree on it being small, but it's one if the things I like best about Publix.

The cannoli part of their Bakery department sucks.
