Notable Movements in 247 rankings (+/- 5 and up)

Mays +72
H Bailey -49
Green +12
A Johnson +12
D Bailey -10
Williamson +9

Same guys, but in the Composite:

H Bailey -22
A Johnson +13
Lawrence -8
C Mays +8 (Did ESPN/Rivals drop him? +72 in 247, but only +8 in composite is odd)
D Bailey +7
A Green -2

And this...
Williamson +98

Our son turned 5 as school started. He was fine intellectually, but we were concerned he needed another year to mature emotionally, so we held him back. He is ahead of the curve, but that's ok. Coming from my genes, he is never going to be bigger than other kids, even almost a year older. It has worked out well.

We leaned on the advice from the pre-K teacher and my mom who is a kindergarten teacher. They both said my daughter is more than ready. But she’s also a June 1 so 2 months before the standard cutoff.

We're probably going to be late-risers in the team rankings. We're playing the long game with some elite players. Most of these guys want to see what Pruitt puts on the field this year and they want to watch how the staff uses certain position groups, especially since we have new coordinators. We're not going to load up with depth players when we're in a good spot with guys higher on our board.

That's why this season is so important. Not to win the east or anything crazy like that, but to show real improvement. 7-5 will do the trick.

Agreed. i'm sure there will be a time when we'll need to know where we stand with some of those elite guys. i don't think Pruitt wants to get caught like we did last year on a couple of the back up plans.

i think we probably feel pretty good about a number of prospects. but i think there'll be more of a "hey, if we're really contending, we're still in. if not, we need to know" type feel to it.

I think JG is a better talent than the QBs mentioned in the article. We may be in for a treat.

If Chaney could get Nate P. to ball out, there's no telling what he could do with JG. I think I'm most interested to see how this develops, although I don't think we'll know anything from camp. We won't see the changes until it goes live.

We have went with the one that had the player ranked the highest or the composite. I guess we will have to take the highest ranking at any given time from any given service.

Opinions being what they are, I don't fault you for having one. I've lived here about half a centuryand have eaten at Arnolds plenty of times to have given it a fair shot. Most of what they put on the steam table looks and tastes like it came right out of the Robert Orr/Sysco can. They over salt the food. If the place was not located right on the edge of the downtown tourism district where they can catch uneducated tourists who don't know good southern cooking from a cow patty, they would probably have closed up long ago. That said, if someone is the kind of person who likes standing in line for an hour to eat some reheated canned vegetables, stale cornbread, and mystery meat then Arnolds is your spot. I won't post where the good food is because I don't want a bunch of jerkwads showing up and making it harder to get a table.
Blasphemy. Nothing comes from cans. They source everything from local farms. The recipes have been passed along in the family.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. But with all do respect, that opinion ain't worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on.

I'm in a Panera right now and I'm low key enjoying the disappointment on these ugly nerds faces when they cant find an outlet for their laptop and I'm sitting next to one. I want to plug in something ridiculous like a mini lava lamp or mini discoball

"It helps me with my digestion! Why are you oppressing me!"

Why the hell would you be in a Panera and not be using your laptop for work?

That food is TRASH (except for the cinnamon crunch bagel)

Oddly specific analogy. 🤔

My father in law used to coach HS football and basketball in Chattanooga in the 1960s. Howard was a real powerhouse then, especially in football. I can't remember the coach's name, but my father in law said he was a great coach but that he also had 22 year olds starting for him routinely.

Oh, there are hilarious stories about the pre-desegregation days of REAL home town advantages. Very similar to what you are describing.
