Drive about 45 minutes south to Calhoun to a place called Thatchers (I realize they have locations in Ooltewah, Trenton and Ringgold...all of which are closer, but the Calhoun one is the only one I've been to and I don't know if it tastes as good at the other locations).

Get the brisket and an appetizer called "Mac 'n chez bites" (and, now that I look at their website, it says that the Trenton location is the only place that has these...who knows...just find them).

You're welcome.
I was today years old when I heard of Trenton, GA. Who knew....everyone besides me of course.

As far as I know, Trenton is only "known" for one thing, and it's their drive-in movie. It's $7 to get in, they have two screens, both of which show double features (starting at 9:15pm) which are usually fairly current. For instance, the movies this week on the first screen are the new Lion King first followed by Toy Story 4, and the other screen is showing Crawl followed by Annabelle. It's really a good deal if you're OK with being there until around 1:00am.

...and then I walk out, embarrassed that I wore full pads to the interview...

As a result of the back & forth🖕, both parties become resentful of one another. Then @bignewt becomes a sad and lonely vandy fan....

That's pretty cool. There is only 1 Drive In in Atlanta, that I know of, and you would only go there if you are suicidal, or looking to get robbed and killed.

Woodbury's got a nice drive-in.

Best places to eat in Chattanooga ? Moving step son into college there this week. Will be spending some extra time there it looks like in the coming years. Best place to have a beer and watch the vols on a Saturday afternoon ?
Hmm going to visit a young man on the weekend during his first foray into college life? Be careful about popping in ;)

And use your visitations judiciously and, probably, sparingly. I know most kids on campus cherished our weekends getting into shenanigans. But they'll always come home to visit when they need some family time, rest assured.

not his first rodeo he is actually transferring into UTC. We dont do that at all lol. He is apart of the football team as a under graduate assistant so we will be visiting some on game weekends is about all

I was unsure in the beginning. The first person accounts confused me at times but I realized that was because I didn't know the characters yet.
Once I learned the individual personalities, it really took off from there.
I would recommend it.
Actually, I guess that's exactly what I'm doing. Loved the darkness of it all and the way the characters ended up intertwining.

Is this on Audible yet? I only listen to words in books.

Glad you liked it, I thought about using symbols for each character that you would see at each new sub chapter and then having a key in the back so you could look up the symbol and see who is talking but I decided against that and just thought the challenge would get easier as you get into the story. It's definitely dark but it's southern gothic so those never end well lol. Sometimes I wish I had made it a bit longer but when I tried it just felt forced. Hopefully I can get a real publisher to take it on, if not on to the next!

I'm glad you didn't go with the symbols, it forced a deeper learning of the characters from the start.
Big swing to go 1st person on your very first attempt but I think it ended up being worth it.
