A lot of people don’t get it because we are “home” and think it’s going to be great but it’s much more complicated than that.

Imagine going on vacation with your family and finding out while you were there that there was a health issue, and now you must remain in this vacationing country where you have nothing except your packed bags. Your job, friends, dog and 95% of your possessions remain at home.

It is a blessing to be with family here but to say my world has been completely turned on it’s head is an understatement and I’m struggling with the loss of control. I literally cannot even decide the country I live in at the moment.

Just a little raw moment from me... I know all the “right” answers, but I’m pretty authentic with how I feel about this process in this moment

Chain BBQ, it's good. They are the 'wet style' ribs I enjoy the place, not sure the Downtown spot is still open I know Hixson has one though.

Everyone puts LilliputianVol on ignore and BGS picks up the slack.

I think BGS tries his best to be objective. However, since he is a fan, that's hard, so he errs on the side of caution so it won't hurt as much when the kick to the nads arrives.

Best places to eat in Chattanooga ? Moving step son into college there this week. Will be spending some extra time there it looks like in the coming years. Best place to have a beer and watch the vols on a Saturday afternoon ?

If you can't get to Applebee's, then I strongly recommend Bea's. It is a great family-style place.

It is at 4500 Dodds Avenue.

You will seriously be glad if you go eat there.

Above average. All BBQ in Chattanooga is pretty solid. But my two favorites are Clyde’s and Puckets, both are downtown.

Drive about 45 minutes south to Calhoun to a place called Thatchers (I realize they have locations in Ooltewah, Trenton and Ringgold...all of which are closer, but the Calhoun one is the only one I've been to and I don't know if it tastes as good at the other locations).

Get the brisket and an appetizer called "Mac 'n chez bites" (and, now that I look at their website, it says that the Trenton location is the only place that has these...who knows...just find them).

I would add Boathouse if you're looking to sit by the river and have a beer. Food is pretty good as well. Hair of the Dog is a good english pub. Honest Pint probably has the best sandwiches.

I usually go to a cheap mexican place like El Meson to catch a game if I'm out.

I know we like to give 247 flak for their rating of Bailey, but what ESPN has him rated is downright laughable. 247 at least has him as a top 150 player and a top 10 QB regardless of classification.

No way in any ranking he is the 17th best QB in this class and barely a 4 star.
