2020 Presidential Race

Another falsehood from the right...

This is per "factcheck.org" and posted on July 31, 2012 and updated on May 14, 2016:

Regarding college records: Basically, what they concluded was that Barack Obama's records were neither hidden or sealed... that would be illegal. He just hasn't authorized Occidental, Columbia or Harvard Law to release them, but they do exist. And guess what? Trump has not authorized any of his former academic institutions to release his academic records either... and in fact, he has even proactively threatened to sue them if they did. Your premise is not only completely based on a lie... it is also hypocritical. Trump hasn't been any more transparent about his academic career than Obama was. However, you aren't complaining about that are you?
Another falsehood from the right.

So you admit it was a political tactic, not racism. Crying racism was a political tactic from the left. One they use quite frequently.

It was a transparent attempt to de-legitimize Barack Obama's presidency with an unfounded accusation, which was only sustainable because Obama is black. Unless you wish to believe that Trump would have ever told a white president to "Show me your papers!" A pervasive theme among Trump's expressed sentiments toward blacks is that they are somehow less-American than whites... less patriotic and less deserving of being here.

!00% INCORRECT!!

So you only cherry pick what supports what you want to believe. There is evidence to suggest Trump is racist. There is also evidence to suggest Trump is not racist. You're trying to paint half a picture. Isn't that what "birtherism" did? I guess those tactics are okay as long as it's your side using them.
Haven't you done exactly the same thing here? Based on what I've seen... The evidence pointing to Trump being prejudiced against people of color (not just blacks), is more compelling than anything I've seen pointing to the contrary.

I will admit you can point to things here and there which even a reasonable person might believe prove that Trump does not harbor any prejudice towards blacks.... but I can also point to the fact that Hitler was also very kind to at least one Jew (his mother).

So, he used a comment that he knew would be taken as racist. Yeah, that's still racism.

Great speech so far. He's gonna kick some Democrat Butt.
We'll see. Not watching his speech, don't really care what he has to say. I'm not convinced he's a racist, but he is a pompous ass hat. He is far from the ideal choice for President, but if the left doesn't find a candidate that pulls it back more toward the middle, there's a good chance he gets reelected. This country badly needs new leaders to emerge.

I have no idea why your alls side wants to wear trump stuff to get in just to yell stupid ish. Dumbest thing I've ever seen.

They probably just suddenly realized how stupid they were for being at a Trump rally, wearing a stupid hat, and thought they needed to tell everyone else how stupid the whole things is.

He's having great success and that will get him elected. Unfortunately so many previous Presidents pretended to be for the people and were not. Trump actually is and the results speak for themselves.

He intentionally mispronounced AOC as O Case e o Cortez. He said her name is too long so he's calling her Cortez for short.

Or he simply misspoke. You guys call him an idiot all the time, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. You just seize on what you want to believe without considering other possibilities. For all I know, he could be racist, but I'm not going to jump to that conclusion.

100% dumb is splitting hairs... it's annoying. If you want to say Obama is a "person of color" then that is just fine with me. I will call him "black" and be less wordy, if that is okay with you?

You can call him whatever you want! My Grandmother was 100% Cherokee Indian, so you can call me a person of color!

Agreed but it's not on the left. I guess I like a different approach to most of my fellow Trump supporters on here. I just think this 3rd grade approach has worn old. For his sake, I hope he made the right calculation because we need the moderate vote.

Trump is only for his base. That is only about 46.2% of the people... less than half. I don't think he will be re-elected but we will see in about 15 and 1/2 months.
