Somehow, you are under the belief that this picture proves that Trump couldn't possibly be a racist. I have news for you.... A desire to have sex with someone of the race you are prejudiced against, does not serve as absolution. Do you realize how many plantation owners fathered children with slaves? Monticello has affirmed that Thomas Jefferson fathered children with Sally Hemings. Trump has a long history of discriminating against blacks, going back to 1973, when he and his father (Trump Management) were sued for discrimination by the Department of Justice. The lawsuit ended in a settlement. They were sued again by the DOJ in 1978, once again accused of racial discrimination against blacks, that case ended in 1982 without resolution. Trump also aggressively promoted "birtherism". Your picture proves nothing...except that Trump found this particular woman to be attractive. Big deal.

It was a transparent attempt to de-legitimize Barack Obama's presidency with an unfounded accusation, which was only sustainable because Obama is black. Unless you wish to believe that Trump would have ever told a white president to "Show me your papers!" A pervasive theme among Trump's expressed sentiments toward blacks is that they are somehow less-American than whites... less patriotic and less deserving of being here.

It is a fact that Ku Klux Klan rallies in the 60's that had been organized to rally against the integration of schools and the Civil Rights Bill, as well as the Voting Rights Act, were often promoted with slogans such as "America First" and "Protect the Future of America!" with their message centered around virulent patriotism and restrictive immigration. They claimed, just as Trump does, that anyone who disagreed with them was anti-American. If you choose to waste time watching that rally on Fox News tonight, take note of how many times that Trump will accuse a black person of hating America versus how many times he will make the same accusation against a white person... I'm betting that you will see a huge disparity. It's just a glorified Klan rally. Alas, I will not be watching... have fun.

Was it sustainable because he was black, or was it sustainable because his father was Kenyan? Did people go out of bounds with it? Yes. But was it racism or political strategy? Not every thing is about race, but when a POC is challenged in any way, the first cry is always racism. The fact that the left uses it as a rallying cry and accuses every one who opposes them of racism is tiring. It's the party that cries wolf.

Both... Having a parent born outside of this country is not uncommon for someone running for President in the last 100 years. Donald Trump's own mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, was born in Scotland. I don't recall anyone on the right ever demanding to see Trump's birth certificate. You are in denial, if you are dismissing race and racism as a feature of the "birther-ism" issue.

And by the way, I'm still waiting on that press conference that Trump was supposedly calling to show us what his investigators in Hawaii had uncovered, which they couldn't believe they were finding - way back in 2011!
