The Atlanta Braves

Good for him but not sure how you get this far trying to be a starter and thinking you can survive with 2 pitches long term

I mean.......Baltimore’s organization did suck at developing pitchers 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s my only defense

How valuable of a trade piece would Folty be in trying to get one of these high end starter/closer combos (Bauer/Hand, Stroman/Giles, etc)? Even though he has struggled, he has flashed absolutely elite stuff and even had a really good full season. Could including him as a major league ready piece keep us from having to deal Pache, Anderson, or Waters if multiple other high end prospects were included? Or has this season torpedoed his value too much?

Morosi’s latest article says the Reds are willing to listen on Luis Castillo and lists the Braves first with a proposed package lead by Pache and Anderson. I like the player but the price not so much...

It's a league of wrestling fans, that's why i asked him first. He seems more into it and we talk a lot of wrestling, all day every day lol. If you're still interested email me, Benjove334@gmail.com

I'm not sure why you are so intent on being a jerk to me but I asked over the weekend could I join if there was an opening and yes, I love and am a lifelong wrestling fan by the way.

Steep.... but dang. Idk. You’re looking at what, 4 years control of a proven commodity without touching the big league roster? I don’t think there’s a wrong answer to that question either for or against. Would have to spend time with his advanced numbers before having an opinion but I’d lean no..

I see the ridiculous markakis/bryce side by sides have stopped. Wouldn’t mind seeing a JD/Bryce side by side 👀

A lot of walks but the stuff is incredible. Maybe in Cincy not pitching in that bandbox he won’t have to be as careful.

Rosenthal said today on MLBN he would be shocked if the Braves didn’t do something significant
I need a definition of significant. I don’t see anything significant available but that’s JMO

I would have enjoyed a Merrifield, W Smith/Giles, Wheeler pickup but the price tag on Merrifield is ridiculous and Wheeler and Giles are hurt. Bum doesn’t move the needle.

Greinke+Bradley would get me out of my chair but I don’t see it.

Wheeler may still get a start before the deadline, I would not call Matthew Boyd significant though.

It seems like Bauer is gonna get traded. I would say he’s significant

No thanks. They have a reputation of not coming off their asking price and it doesn’t make sense for them to given their level of competing. They also need ML ready arm to replace him and ML ready OF bats.

Last year looks like a significant outlier, no?
