The Atlanta Braves

Here’s why I’m not totally opposed to trading Waters. BTW I really like him and think he will be a good player. But here’s my reasoning.

1) We will have Acuna & Pache. We know Riley isn’t a disaster in LF. We are trading a little from a position of strength.

2) He’s a switch hitter so it’s gonna take some time for him to develop. Like I don’t think he’s in the majors before 2021.

3) His value is super high right now but he has a .459 BABIP and 26% k rate. That is not sustainable haha. His value could drop over the next year or two.

Who would play 3B long-term in this scenario?

I liked what I saw from Ynoa. Maybe a blessing in disguise

I wondered why we went with heart attack giving Minter over Webb for the save yesterday!

I’m for keeping Riley in left and resigning Donaldson for next year
I think that happens. IMO, Donaldson seems to be really enjoying himself and I think he grew up a Braves fan so he's probably living a dream right now.

I also don't see them starting the season with two starting rookie outfielders especially since neither has made it to Gwinnett as of yet.

I don’t think any one singular move increases our WS chances. They’re pretty decent to begin with.

Now we get Colome, Will Smith, and Stroman then we can talk.

What are your thoughts on Wheeler with one of those BP arms?

Edit: Didn’t see above post. Damn, I think we could have gotten him for Allard plus a lower level prospect!
