Sure, but thats a FA signing, IM talking about trades. I just dont see this FO giving up a big enough time prospect to get a Stroman, Bumgarner, Giles, Greene etc

Do any of those guys really make us “legit” WS contenders anyways? I mean we are the second best team in the NL, how much more legit do we need? Yes we can improve the pitching staff but I’m not sure any one of those guys by themselves truly moves the needle...Stroman is the only guy I would think.

Starter wise maybe not, but bullpen wise absolutely, the difference between Giles and Jackson as your closer. Adding lets say Will Smith v. Minter as a left matchup guy.

The Dodgers are the best team in the NL, but the Braves are clearly 2nd. I don’t like our chances against the Dodgers but I don’t think one move fixes that. Nor do I think AA is gonna sit on his hands.
