The Atlanta Braves

Which pitcher is everyone wanting most at the deadline if you had to pick just one? I think it's Wheeler for me, Stroman a close second.

Stroman seems to make the most sense due to his contact. Still can't believe the Mets will sell within the division.

Not to us certainly and if they did, the price might be absurd. Stroman would do great in this locker room imo.

I think when we add a starter we should move Fried to the pen till September. Save some innings, see if Gausman or Folty can be the fifth guy, and let Fried get ready for a super reliever role like last year in the pen.

I don't want to see Folty again this year. If they make a trade, I'm hoping he's part of the package.

Maybe Gausman comes up in a relief role

Does Fried ever pitch more than 5 or 6 innings? Seems like they are saving innings that way.

Never thought I'd be saying this but at this point, I'm not sure there is anyone in the bullpen I would want Gausman to replace.

Stroman. The K rate has concerned me in the past but with our infield defense, the fact he’s under team control through next year, and he’s got playoff experience. Plus Braves fans will love him.

I understand. Our bullpen numbers are surprisingly good. Doesn't seem that way knowing how bad they got beat up the first couple of months, but they've been pretty good since the end of May

Wheeler is a rental. I wouldn’t think they have any problem moving him without division. Supplying prospects within the division would be more of a hindrance IYAM

Either way, Wheeler my #1 for what I think is out there

You're probably right. The issue might be more on the Braves end.
