Culinary, Arts, Thread.

Yeah, I like them.

"Like"? Gtfo!!

Seriously though, I think I like them so much because I wasn't really expecting to. Bacon flavored stuff usually does nothing for me and chips or snacks with Jalapeno, Habanero or some other "Hot" flavor, is usually not hot. Both satisfy me, and being a pretzel makes even better.

@Behr speaking of vinegar, is there like a rule of thumb if you want to add some to greens just to give it a kick? I don't really know how to take advantage of the benefit of adding something acidic to a dish.

Tonight I fixed smoked sausage, black beans, and sauteed kale (olive oil, garlic powder, red pepper flakes). I felt like I wanted some vinegar on the kale but I don't really understand the best way to do it.

I started typing last night and decided it was to involved, for both me and you.. meaning I didn't think you would want to fool with it and I didn't want to waste my time if you weren't going to, been there and done that several times. Sorry, just being honest. Also being honest, I do appreciate the fact that you ask.

Now I'm looking at that recipe and it's not that much different.

I don't like the idea of using ground beef, but I get the budget thing. I also had rather use red than white wine or brandy. Auguste Escoffier would even suggest sweet vermouth. And making your own creme f...ah sour cream, would take it to a whole other level.

They’re good. Best of the flavored ones I’ve had so far

Yes, always add it right before you eat it. Don't use it to cook with, like in the water your boiling or steaming it in. It will turn them that dark dingy coloratura and bring out more of the bitter flavor.

Lol, I have no idea what coloratura is, my phone made it up. Was supposed to be color. Damn, it tried to do it again.

I agree. The garlic Parmesan are really good too though. IMO.

I haven't really put much thought in it, probably won't, but I saw the thyme sprig on the front in the picture and I have some fresh. So, I chopped up a little and mixed it in with some creme fraiche and a little salt and granulated garlic for a experimental dip. Was pretty good.

So just like great grandma did, and have it on the table. Thanks!!

I picked up a block of this the other day at Publix. Had it for lunch yesterday with Garden Herb Triscuits (my favorite). The cheese had some kick.

Had a kick, but was it good? I love trying new to me stuff, especially cheese, crackers, chips, snacks, cookies etc. I'll try it if you recommend it.

We talked about Triscuits just last week. I pretty much like them all, but my Favorite is the fire roasted tomato and olive oil. Hman likes the Avacodo cilantro lime, I tied them and they're good too. They would be good with a fresh cucumber dip of some kind, like Tzatziki.

There is a dill and sea salt triscuit flavor that I get when I see it, I like it with sharp cheddars.
Has anyone seen these and tried them?20190627_192139.jpg

First, I'm weird about dill, I love fresh dill but I don't like dried or anything like chips, crackers or store bought dips that are dill flavored.

Next, of I haven't seen those. What section are they in? They good?
