Question for the cord cutters out there. I am considering dropping cable TV but obviously I am concerned about missing UT games. What are the best options to make sure I wont miss any games? I do know an HD antenna is a must and would cover CBS since I am local to Nashville.
Fire stick. Download mobdro. Has every channel on it for free. Only thing is that it doesn’t have ufc Ppv anymore and no TV guide.

How does this work? Someone told me to get a firestick and YouTube TV. Would I need to get espn+ also?
I would get a Roku stick over a Fire stick tbh, a few fire sticks I've seen had lag issues. That's just my experience with both.

Also you can run it through a PS4 or XB1 if you have one.

Espn+ is just extra (smaller sports: softball, soccer etc. games, documentary, special editions like kobe breaking down players) programming espn offers that's not on their other family programming. It's a monthly fee though

First time on the board. Been following for a while. Many thanks to Freak for moderating. You do a great job.
Be patient with my mistakes in posting. I'm an old man. My first time in Neyland was 1964 Miss St game which we lost by a point (it wasn't that close). Have seen incredible games and horrible losses. Worst time in my Vols life was when I was in the Navy for 8 years and couldn't get home for any games. (Flight training and then overseas deployments.)
I want a team of players who want to be Vols. I remember Al Wilson inviting a defensive lineman that outweighed him by 80 lbs to go out to the parking lot and "discuss" his lack of effort at practice and Hacksaw Reynolds sawing his jeep in half after the Archie Manning Ole Miss loss (which BTW I know one of the great secrets about why that happened).
WBO is short for World's Biggest Orangeneck, borrowed from a friend who died of cancer before he was 50 and who lived and died with every Tennessee game (I gave him my tix for the Miracle in South Bend because I had to go on Reserve duty (I retired from the Reserves).
Looking forward to getting to know you guys because deep down, we all love the Big Orange.

You can buy ESPN+ yearly...what my daughter did for Father’s Day.

Welcome!
We do love our Vols! You have to learn who to ignore and who to put on ignore.

Rogue One was very good. And since I know very little about the originals, it feels like it's going to be a good lead in to them. The best part was Vader in action at the end. But the movie overall was very good.

Hehe. It incorporated force moves that are Canonical. Anakin Skywalker was supposed to bring the force into balance, hence, the redemptive storyline behind Star Wars.

Palpatine and Yoda all knew he had the most potential as a Jesi bc of concentration of Midichlorians was highest theyd seen. My point is all this jumping and twisting and maneuvering about that came after the OG was hard to swallow for us purists.

That blurb at the end incorporated what we fans knew to be the capabilities of the strongest Sith Lord to exist, and weaved with modern CGI but didnt over do it....the evil he was capable of as described in books...but on film for the first time. Loved how they recreated Leia on the Correllian Corvette vessel 🤓

This is making me want to re watch the Trilogy

This guy is older than me. Please start directing your old dude jokes at this guy. TIA.

Just kidding... Welcome to the board. You have already shown a modicum of intelligence by posting in the recruiting forum. If you are in a room with @Orange Studs rest assured, you are the smartest man in the room.

Youtube TV. I get basically every Vols, Titans, Braves, and Preds game in Murfreesboro. It also comes with CBS, ABC, etc so no need for antenna.

Edit: also free DVR.

I'm considering YouTube TV also. But I don't have a Smart TV or a video game system. Is there another way? I mean, without hooking up my laptop and controlling it thru that? Something that would allow me to use a remote, etc.?

I was on a Med Cruise during the 1988 season. It was a blessing.

Welcome!

I stream you tube tv through Apple TV. Cost more initially but far superior to other options.
