For me personally. I didn't even think Solo was all that terrible really, just pointless...which may be worse tbh.

It was a fun movie, it’s just that no one cared. Honestly a backlash from The Last Jedi

To me I have no love or loyalty to the franchise. This is like those who love comics getting upset about movies departing from the storyline. So for me this is just an action movie and it was entertaining.

I'm with you, @Bassmaster_Vol. I have no loyalty to the comic books, but I have enjoyed almost every single movie Marvel has pumped out. The only except was Captain Marvel where the acting for Captain Marvel was just cringey to me.

I have never seen Solo, but have heard the same you've described. I personally think it's a money grab by Disney. A movie that didn't really need to be made and provides no sustenance to the overall story line to try and grab money from the diehard fans.

It was a money grab. Loose tie in for the other movies, but just ok

The Rogue 1 plot hole fill was really good though.

Agreed. Rogue 1 was a great movie that helped answer some questions. Definitely one of the best SW movies.

Rogue One was very good. And since I know very little about the originals, it feels like it's going to be a good lead in to them. The best part was Vader in action at the end. But the movie overall was very good.
