2020 Presidential Race

You are dead wrong on both (his "Real Clear Politics Average" approval rating has still never been above the 46.2% number that he was elected with. He has not expanded his support at all. He isn't making a dent with anyone but the same people who voted for him in 2016) and by every indication, Trump either isn't getting any credit for the state of the economy or the way people feel about his personality, behavior and lack of integrity are currently overriding how they feel about the economy.

Maybe he should offer free money for housing......damn beat him to it. Guess he’ll have to find something else to offer for free.

Ok I will go along with the argument Trump has not improved his position with many outside his base, but outside of the fire breathers you see on television people are unhappy with duffus's.

The only thing I need to ask my Democrat friends - do you really want your taxes increased to pay for my college debt when you didn't even go? It is over after that.

Google, youtube, and Facebook. Google it......no you probably can't.
You are telling me to google "Google". That is kind of funny.

Serious question, shouldn't the administrators of YouTube, Facebook and Twitter have the right to establish the terms of service for usage and enforce those terms as they see fit? Isn't that what Freak does with VolNation? Also, if conservatives have a problem with those terms of service and do not wish to abide by them, what is keeping them from creating their own platforms on social media (other than their own lack of know-how and abilities in the field of computer science technology), where they can establish their own terms of service and in turn, also exclude whomever they wish from that platform?

It seems like the real problem that conservatives have on this issue, isn't censorship, but the fact that all of the skill in creating these successful platforms, comes from Silicon Valley liberals. It's not any different (in my opinion) than Vandy fans being jealous of VolNation, because they don't have anyone with the time, money and ability to create a fan site as good as this one... so, they are stuck talking about their National Championship in baseball on an outdated 1990's style bulletin board site, which totally sucks.

I'll add to that: Do you want to continue to be forced to pay for health care whil illegals are given it for 'free'?

Google is way bigger and way more important than Freak (apologies to Freak), and what Google does has ramifications for all of us. Serious question: would you have a problem if liberal opinions were being removed, and the only info you could find was biased toward white supremacists?

They should. Still won’t mean they won’t get ripped for it.

Same way no baker should be forced to bake a cake he or she doesn’t want to bake.

It’s really simple to me. Let them run their business the way they see fit. At the end of the day, they’ll be judged accordingly at the profit line.

I will give you Google... it's a search engine. What they do isn't censorship but if they are rigging their results in favor of a political ideology? That is wrong and should be corrected. I was talking about the social media platforms - Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Sorry, but I don't believe in selective free speech.

Exactly. YouTube, Facebook and Twitter should have the right to censor whomever they want. If conservatives have a problem with that? They should create their own social media platforms and exclude liberals. If conservatives aren't capable of creating their own social media platforms? Blame yourselves!

I hope that you also sided with the business owner who didn’t want to make special cakes for the queer wedding.

Yes. And can be sealed with either tape or a caulking type material spread with a putty knife. The cost of zip is about the same as standard osb and House wrapping. But because you don’t have to go back and wrap it there’s a ton of labor savings. Plus it kills House wrap in energy efficiency testing
you need some fluid applied in your life

This is not a 1st Amendment issue. That only deals with instances where the government is censoring someone. Free speech does not concern actions of censorship by a company.
I don't believe in anything but fairness on a public forum. Sorry. Your side doesn't allow dissent from their world view..

But remember...the democratic/socialist candidates argument is they want everybody to get that free as well...with another tax increase.

I really think that the conservatives' problem on this issue stems from not having anywhere near the kind of talent in computer science technology that you see from liberals in Silicon Valley. To an extent, this is all about jealousy. There is no doubt that conservatives are censored on Facebook and Twitter (except of course, for Trump).... your problem is that your side doesn't have the talent to create social media platforms of your own as good as those two. So, you have to play by rules that liberals have made. It sucks... for you.

I didn't mention the First Amendment. I believe in free speech everywhere.

That’s a super slippery slope. I don’t want some bureaucrat deciding what is allowed and what isn’t.

If YouTube wants to be a little heavy handed with the facism let them have at it.

The same thing in network news is what sprouted talk radio, Fox News, and countless other mediums.

So, you are okay with selective free speech on social media? If they are going to call balls and strikes, they should be fair about it.

I don’t like it and wouldn’t say I’m OK with it. But it’s a private company that should be able to do as they please.

It beats some new government department that gets to call balls and strikes that will eventually be abused by politicians (probably Democrats based on the last administration).
