That’s dangerous to put out there with our fanbase. The baseline expectation is now 9 wins and should be 11 if “Pruitt is the guy.”
Don't see why or how. Those odds are predicting 7.6 wins, 4.4 losses. Nothing in the neighborhood of 9-11 wins.

Compare the way this staff goes about offers/camps compared to Butch.
Also how does the 19 class compare in terms of “look” factor compare to the kids Butch brought in.

Yeah, this staff was never going to take as many commitments as possible just to boost numbers. That was Jones' style, along with using media evaluations instead of his own. This staff is very methodical and doesn't hesitate to screen out guys that don't meet their criteria. Several recruits have gone elsewhere because they weren't a take at this point in the cycle. It would have been a nice boost to have more of our targets committed by now to help peer-recruit, but we're still in it with most of them-- just a lot of work to do.

My 16 yr old red heeler/jack russell mix has congestive heart failure and an enlarged heart that is pressing up against his esophagus causing him to choke and gag. He also has horrible arthritis. We are taking him in the morning to have him put to sleep. He has been around since before my wife and I were married. He has been there for each of our kids coming home from the hospital. He has moved across the country and back with us. He has watched over and protected us from men with hats and beards for over 16 years. I'm not ready to say goodbye, but sadly the time has come.

I feel like this VN is part of my extended family. Please pray for my family as we deal with this. It doesn't compare to Bass losing his grandmother but I'll still take some prayers.
My last 2 Shetland sheepdogs developed seizures bad and put them down. Two of the worst days of my life. Not much I can say but remember all the good times. Feel really bad for you and Bass both. Prayers for both and the families.

Back down to 10 commits not including the long snapper. This years season is crucial for the success of the program. If we play well we will finish with a top 10 class, if not I'm concerned we won't have any momentum, and have to settle on lesser talent.

Wait and see mode
Yes, we said that in May. But keep in mind these coaches will get the most out of whatever talent we get so we will continue to get better. The only question is the rate we return to a top program.

Ha ha - well, once we are “favored,” regardless of how narrow that may be or what may happen with injuries, etc. for some in our fanbase the baseline expectation is that we must win all those games. Then a great coach must win one or two he shouldn’t. So, to some members of our fanbase, this tweet is proof we should win 9-11. It will be used against Pruitt if he only wins 7 or so this fall. I can just about guarantee it.

Sucks man, sorry to hear that. Dogs are family and it’s never easy.

Just know you’re doing what’s best for him.

I had a 13 year old Cocker Spaniel with the same condition and we had him put to sleep. I just couldn't stand to see him suffer and there was nothing the Vet could do to help him. It was very hard on my wife and I but we had him cremated and he's in a little box next to his picture. That seemed to help us get through the tough time. Good luck bud.

haha that probably will happen. They need throw in the W/L prediction in the tweet. "Favored" in 10 games is meaningless.
