All Thangs Pussum and Chad Thread

Just googled and found out there is a Sonic two miles from my work. I can count on one hand how many times I have been to one in the last 26 years, and I would probably have fingers left over.

Will be going for lunch soon.
Let me know if you turn up an In-N-Out Burger. I miss those things.

I love Alfredo sauce, but it’s often way too heavy (when we eat out). It’s as if there’s more sauce than pasta.

I make it when Hubs takes a break from pretending that he’s low-carb. Preferably on fettuccine or something else that can fight back, but anything will do in a pinch.
Alfredo seems to be too inconsistent at restaurants.

I don’t like the noodles swimming in the sauce either, just supposed to coat it, that’s why fettuccine works so well, IMO.

I like to use parmigiana regiano and half a clove of fresh garlic in my Alfredo, just to give it a hint. It's a game changer IMO. Also a little fresh ground nutmeg like the original is a nice treat.

Obviously your pasta shouldn't be "swimming" in sauce, but certain sauces, like Alfredo are usually made to have a little left in the bowl or plate so you have some to finish off the bread.

I always served it with fettuccine, but I personally prefer penne for mine. And crab Alfredo is probably one of my top 3 Favorite pasta dishes.

Have you ever given Rocky Frosty Paws?

I used to give Behr those and he loved them. For some reason the peanut butter ones gave him the squirts, so he got the regular ones. Lol, he would look at me while he was squatting like "WTF you feedin me"?

I do all that, that you suggested. Have you added lemon zest and half lemon juice?

What kind of onion and what batter makes for a good/great onion ring?

I swear I can taste a hint of vanilla in Sonic's onion rings.
One of my cousins was a carhop at sonic back in the day. She always said they added soft serve to their onion ring batter....which would explain the vanilla sweetness.

Yep, there's that one and another brand that we usually get since it's cheaper - I think it is peanut butter and cheese, yum!

I'm in the process of trying to find an at home groomer since he is not up to date in vaccinations and it is a struggle so far. Used to take him to PetSmart monthly for that, but no more.

Thank goodness you don’t take him there. I’ve read the horror stories.

Still a couple in San Francisco, unfortunately no longer drive-ins. Featured in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner also. That one was near my apartment.
